This is what makes hero’s relatable. I feel Martian Man Hunter in this scene, it’s hard being alone and not having people to make some special memories with, be it holiday or not. Sometimes just being nice to someone is good like the people who just talked to me on my birthday, it was good convo and they just were nice and talked to me, and that made me less bitter and angry, had they not talked to me that day I could’ve been a much more bitter person, but that moment shines a light for me, and makes me smile to this day.
I've had this feel. I was in high school visiting a friend for Christmas. Not like I had nowhere else to be - I lived in the same town, had a nice family, nice house, my family simply had nothing going on and I had just been hanging out with my friend during the day and was still there as his extended family started arriving. They had their Christmas party and then came time for the usual thing where everyone takes turns opening presents. I sat through it, feeling really out of place - I didn't really know anyone there besides my one friend. Because of where my friend and I were seated and how small the room was, I wouldn't be able to leave without making a scene. Eventually the dad called my name and handed me a present "it's from uh... Santa claus!" A little gift bag with a $20 in it. They threw something together at the last minute just to make me feel welcome and they didn't need to do that. In hindsight, I wish I had kept that gift bag.
It's worth pointing out that on at least one occaision, when superman was believed dead at his wake MM was one of the first to speak and said something to the extent of "Let us all give our thanks to the man that taught us to be heroes" The Justice League may be comprised of many different beings and badasses from across the galaxy and physical spectrum but it seems universally agreed that Superman (or more importantly, Clark Kent as he stresses he is when he is no longer righting wrongs) Is about as upstanding in comicbook history as they come.

Awwww, you guys missed the BEST part of this little scene: the follow up. At the end of the episode, J'onn transforms into his original form, and starts singing a traditional Martian song while staring out the window at the snow while petting a kitty. Ma & Pa Kent stand in the doorway with a tear in their eyes at the beautiful music saying, "And he said he didn't bring us a gift..." That shit *still* gets me to this day!
For me the best part is Flash's side story where he's trying to get this farting duck toy for a bunch of orphans but it's sold out. He finds the last one but comes across Ultra Humanite rampaging in a modern art museum. Flash beats him, but he falls on the toy. Flash gets all distraught and Ultra Humanite offers to fix it. They deliver the toy to the kids but it's revealed Ultra Humanite made some modifications to it and in a more dignified voice, it tells the kids to gather around as it tells a story. Later Flash visits Ultra Humanite in prison, thanks him for what he did and gives him an artificial Christmas tree that lights up. Humanite looks at it and Flash asks if anything is wrong but Humanite says that he had one just like it when he was- but stops himself and tells Flash the guard can show him out. The scene ends with Flash turning back to peek around the corner and seeing Ultra Humanite sitting on his bed across from the tree smiling as its lights dance around his cell. That was the last appearance of Ultra Humanite on the show and my headcanon that Flash's generosity made him reform.

@@DavidVassleofYeshua _yeah unfortunately_
It makes me cry. I seriously wish Homelander was raised this way. Things would have been different.
Aww see we need more of this in the new series like this. Well not exactly copying this scene but we need more messages of being humble and wholesome for the little moments
@@espadafive302 yeah we really do
You cut out the best part. MM sings while petting the Kent's pet cat. It sounded wonderful. The Kents said "... and he said he didnt bring a gift."
Honestly my favorite representation of the Justice League is these old cartoons. Appropriate messages about the GOOD types of tolerance while being clear some thing shouldn't be tolerated at all.
it makes sense why there so comfortable with Martian since they raised a super alien so it’s basically like exactly the same for them
I loved M.M.H as a kid🥰And seeing this scene again melted my heart
martian man hunter has always been one of my favorites, he’s one of the most humble out there. he’s realizing he can make memories with people for once that he will forever remember and cherish.
I like this moment because it really just shows you how much Clark's parents care about everyone no matter who they are
Thanks for all the likes everyone
Good thing they were the ones the raise Clark
Indeed. We can see why superman is such a great guy with strong values
When green arrows arrow misses and kills superman dad " forgive him...it was an accident"

Fun Fact: Santa exists in DC, and Darkseid HATES him. He tries and fails every year to stop Santa.
I absolutely love when very serious, well written comic villains do shit like that
And Santa’s a tough ol fella too.
All it took Thanos was getting the reality stone ro kill Santa lol

I read this in Kevin Conroy's voice.
What's this from?
Yooo I litterally just read that comic. It'd beside me

This is so wholesome bro my heart melted
Man this show had so many wholesome moments and epic scenes that it really makes me upset think about the fact that kids today will never get to experience what I did growing up
The parents that grew up with this show will most likely show it to their children.
Superman wink meant: “Yeah nigga I love it here. Clark, heavy on the Kent” 😂😂

Shit had me wheezing
Omg 💀💀💀

Fun Fact: This is the only Filler Episode of Justice League and it’s absolutely awesome.
Jhon Jones so wholesome I cried
Clarks mom and dad are just so kind I love it 😊
Awwww, you guys missed the BEST part of this little scene: the follow up.
At the end of the episode, J'onn transforms into his original form, and starts singing a traditional Martian song while staring out the window at the snow while petting a kitty.
Ma & Pa Kent stand in the doorway with a tear in their eyes at the beautiful music saying, "And he said he didn't bring us a gift..."
That shit *still* gets me to this day!
Mannnnnnnnnnn, so wholesome TwT
I literally thought about this was my favorite part of that episode it was beautiful
Justice league was the best show ever nothing can come close to it for me, it made my childhood better.
@@GoldenFinger274 same for me...jl n static shock...best of the best
MMH is so underrated. I always love it whenever he makes an appearance in any form of media
The one thing i want in any form of media is showing MMH orea addiction
Yeah same
Putting it on right away shows his genuine love and admiration of the gift
This whole episode was peaceful just all Christmas vibes no villains no fights only good vibes
In another scene, I love that the Kent’s explain that they have to wrap presents in lead so Clark couldn’t see them.
You mean Santa did that
@@venlocity2 You are exactly right! What was I thinking? Santa had to do it.
@@Asfrlover For all we know, Santa is canon in DC.

@@silverblade357 absolutely is. there was a page once talking about how Santa goes to Apokalips every year to give Darkseid a lump of coal.
That smirk Superman gives is like an older brother to a younger sibling, I love it
I love the Kents, seeing them really make you understand how Clark became who he is
Clark has such a kind heart!
And Manhunter is so well… out of his element he really shows his humble and humorous side
Every other superhero: serious parental issues, parents are dead, parents not in the picture
Superman: Mom, Dad, I invited a green man to Christmas dinner, you think you could gift him a sweater to make him feel welcomed?

@@GsusIsKing he was a baby...
@@cowboybeep3542 1. Serious parental issues ✅️ (He had trouble bearing the weight of the task his biological parents put on him, and raising a superbeing like Clark was not a walk in the park for the kents) 2. Parents dead ✅️ 3. Not in the picture ⛔️ (this one is halfway because he has new parents but his life was far from perfect growing up) All 3 are (mostly) satisfied. Everybody in Christmas : Chill
Batman in Christmas : 8 assassins are after your head sir
I genuinely just wanna give this man a hug 💀💀
A lovely scene of 2 aliens, on a farm, celebrating Christmas.
This is one of, if not THE, sweetest moments in the entire series.
There's a reason superman is such a kind person. Using his powers for good.
AND IM A BATMAN FAN!
Which series btw
@@mattdoessomestuff Justice League, its an animated series with the same style as the Batman: The Animated Series show. Same universe too
This is indeed a great scene. For me, I believe the "sweetest" scene is when Batman sat with Ace in JLU. The scene is most likely more heartbreaking than sweet, but it's such a feels moment nonetheless.
@@johnharrington5083 In Batman and Ace scene, we got Tears of Sorrow
But in this scene, there are only Tears of Joy
If it makes you feel better and so Batman ain't left out; during Martian Manhunters funeral on Mars Batman waited for the other members of the league to depart before pacing a Choco on J'onns casket, being his favorite cookies in life. Batman waited to share one last intimate moment between J'onn and himself.
This is some of the parts superman's kindness is just glossed over and ignored.
Supe’s look of “good luck telling her no fam” made this scene for me lol😂😂😂
"Because that's what heroes do."
Love Clark smirking like "told you my mom was the best"
These have been hitting hard lately. The absolute center of a lot of childhoods, the memory will not die.
The true reason for all of Superman's strength and kindness

I watch this episode with my family every Christmas it’s so beautiful
Superman really went "I'm batman" when he saw that martian manhunter was feeling the warmth of a family.
