hi carli, i consider myself a veteran false eyelash consumer lol and will be definitely trying your lashes. The #1 tip i learned is instead of using the eyelash glue (i got them done at a salon one time and lost all my lashes when taking the falsies off :( ) is using hair/weave glue. It comes in black, but once it dries it becomes "tacky" and almost rubbery so if you get any on your face or eyelids you just wait for it to dry it and will peal off with no pain or residue. Also, in my experience once you take your lashes off the hair glue just peals off with no residue. I didnt know they made re-usable eyelashes (so psyched!) and have been using hair glue to make regular drug store lashes last for up to 2 months.

I work for my local zoo. The mink comes from minks thT are in free range zoos. Did no one hear that part? Zoos are responsible for the preservation of wild life. Free range means the animals are not in a small cage rather a large roaming area. Durring sheddig season the mink HAVE to have their hair brushed out to keep it from notting up or from molding in the rain, brushing the hair really saves the mink time from doing it themselves and keeps them from hair balls 🙊 velour then RECYCLES the shedded hair. No animal cruelty is involved! In order for that to be even printed on the box of these lashes the company has to pass so many inspection, regulations, and standards constantly.
Do you really think that the free range zookeepers are really going out where the minks are by foot or car and brushing each and everyone of those minks and are remembering which one they brushed and which ones they didn't. NO
I wonder if Carli actually went to the factory where the minks are to check for herself before she takes anyone's word for it that they aren't mistreated???
Dang I can't imagine the money you'll make off of these...this is the coolest thing. They are a gorgeous design...even with them lasting so long I don't know if I could pay 30 something dollars for false eyelashes...maybe one day. If I ever buy from Velour it will be your design. When I went to take them out of the box they immediately started to fall apart. These lashes are the PRETTIEST lashes when they are on. I went to my hubbies game wearing them and all the wives were so obsessed with them. I told them the website and also gave your CZcams channel. The second time I wanted to wear them, they started to fall out again, so I had to cut them. These lashes are THE best LOOKING lashes, Its what a lash should look like. I beg you PLEASE tell Velour to make them with better quality. For $35 lashes they should last me a long time. I love these lashes but I can't purchase them anymore.
BTW, Carli said in her last video she will be showing us her new eyelashes and how to take care of them/clean them, THEN a few days later Nicole uploaded her "cleaning eyelashes" vid.. so Carli had the idea first! Nothing against Nicole, but you are not copying! I love watching you both :)

I don't wear makeup, however, a friend of mine does but doesn't know how to apply makeup. But I do, so I always do her makeup and it's so much fun. One day I decided to do a wearable Egyptian inspired gold with green duo chrome eye makeup with smudged/Smokey liner (which is one of the looks I am most proud of). Just to give the eyes a little something extra, I decided to use false lashes. This was her first time wearing false lashes, so we started with baby steps by cutting a full set in half and turn them into half strips. A couple days or so later, she talked about how she loved the false lashes. The thing is that the day after the Egyptian look, she returned the lashes safe and sound in its package. I dunno what happened, but I probably took the lashes out to clean them when I got home. As I was putting the lashes back I couldn't find the other half of the left lashes. Then a week later, I was doing my friend's makeup as usual. And I FINALLY found the other half off the lashes. It turned out that it was on the mini tassels of my red scarf that I had worn for the past few weeks

How in the world are these cruelty free when they are made from mink? Really like some of her videos, but just a shame all of the horrible brands being used that test on animals.
I love you Carli.. BUT. Collecting mink hairs from zoo's is still cruel. Animals are supposed to be in the wild and live freely, not in a cage. And by Velour Lashes giving the ZOO money, they keep the animals in cages, because they get the money they need. I know, i know, it's less cruel than most methods, but still.
Elina I know what you mean some zoos are cruel but most are not a lot of animals have escaped going into extinction from zoos a lot of zoos don't put animals in cages such as Dublin they try to give them the most natural and spacious habitats they can have and minks have to get brushed often to prevent moulding somes places don't care about the minks they just want money but a lot don't they care about the animals and the money the get back from the fur goes back into making the minks life as comfortable as possible . But then sometimes it's cruel and they just want money and abuse them in farms but zoos are usually extremely good towards the animals

for the cleaning part, i always the lashes in the makeup remover(liquid). i just pour some remover in the cap and put the lashes in the cap, make sure the liquid is over the lashes. and then wait a couple of hours and the glue is so easy to come off!
Of course you come out with your own lashes AFTER I buy 2 pairs of their lashes! Just placed another order for the CarliLash! You know I have those small eyes, can't wait to see how they look on me! XO

for the cleaning part, i always the lashes in the makeup remover(liquid). i just pour some remover in the cap and put the lashes in the cap, make sure the liquid is over the lashes. and then wait a couple of hours and the glue is so easy to come off!
AAAH!!! OMG I've never bought a pair of lashes so expensive! But these are not just any lashes I must get my hands on them!!! ♥
