Sajeda, I just realized you said on an iPad. Unfortunately the annotate.net extension won't work on an iPad, though supposedly Chrome extensions will be coming to iOS soon!

    Hi Sam,
I have a question regarding the security of our data in the classroom. Is it possible to set up our system in such a way that the students can access the files in the classroom, but are unable to save or download them? This is to ensure the security and exclusivity of our materials.
I'm looking for a solution that allows for full access within the classroom environment while preventing any form of external saving or distribution. Could you please advise if this is feasible with our current setup or if there are any tools or settings we can implement to achieve this?

      Check out Mathigon - mathigon.org/polypad#measuring
You can't put it over your slides but they're free digital math manipulatives.
If you have a Windows computer, the Whiteboard app by myViewBoard has some great math tools that you can actually OVERLAY onto slides. We just did a video about Whiteboard that got uploaded this morning. Their math tools are more limited on their Apple app versions.

Thanks for this. A few caveats. Google “culture” isn’t really culture. It’s a depiction of culture. E.g. seeing a jpg is not at all like seeing the oil on the canvass yourself.
“Relevance” comes from whether they can us eit in their own lives, not whether it’s on the Internet.
I’d say in general the hidden challenge here is to keep is relevant DESPITE it being online, because obviously the majority of stuff online is NOT relevant in a meaningful way.

Why do you have to speak so fast? It's quite difficult to absorb the useful info when it feels we are galloping.
