Lean Improvements for the Print Shop - Fixing what bothers me! | Steve The Graphics Guy

Join me this week as I go over some of the improvements I have made to the shop lately! I am constantly thinking of how I can improve productivity, and make things easier around the shop. I calculate every move I make and try to eliminate the waste such as extra steps or time spent. I try to simplify the process as much as possible.

Always nice to have good lighting for your work environment. That vent came out looking super clean, nice that you didn't have to drill a big ass hole in the wall.

Keep an eye on that vent cover on your laser exhaust, they tend to cake up very quickly and kill the air flow

I wish I was a meticulous as you with everything you do. Good stuff! I need to build a shipping station before I seriously start going after web orders. The thought of expanding in that area has always seemed daunting because we simply are not set up for it.

My advice is go for it! You’d be surprised how much I (don’t) ship out! I’ve built this station for the future and my growth goals so I don’t have to panic when I get there. Right now I certainly don’t need all of this, but I am prepared!
