- I emptied my vinyl liner pool (yes, ill advised and a long story why, but I ultimately couldn't avoid it). I struggled to figure out how to carefully separate the liner from the track and every CZcams video targeted full liner replacement or how to get the liner back in the track. None addressed my specific issue, so I made this video in case someone out there is running into the same issue
Bless your heart! And not in a sarcastic southern back-stabbing way ;)
Thanks for the info!
We are having pool people remove our liner to clean up the debris they layed it over...hopefully this easy method will help them so they do not damage the almost new liner. I will be back with results! Thanks for this simple video.
Thank you for showing how to remove the vinyl liner.
I am going to try and remove at places to suck out the water behind my floating liner.
Thank you!!
Hi Allie, This doesn’t help if the pool is full of water. How to with water in it? Have standing ground water behind liner. And your right millions on how to put in but not remove the liner. Our track is covered over with cement. Please help.
First you may have to pump pool down some. The standing water behind liner most likely will have to be drained pumped out from behind as it could cause the liner to float then you have bigger problems. But why would you need to remove liner? Keep researching this
Usually there is a track right under the concrete that this video is the same to remove most liners. Pull up and out in sections
Ally here, I had to remove a good bit of water from the pool to do critical maintenance to the lights. Then needed to dislodge the liner to vacuum water from behind it. It's a tricky DIY game - I was prepared to pay a pro if I failed
