I used to have a th 8 war base for 5 months …and only 1 was it tripled by a pro hog clan and was by a th 9 attacking my th 8 war base ….

I am a max th8 too, playing for like a month and half even after being maxed learning tactics because you unlock so much at th8, this th8 cup tournament was mind bending, I've learned so much, And also Eric bro is just so cool with this, he has the BK's Iron fist ability with him, just OP ✌️🍺🍺🍻.

Kinda needs to be said that these seemingly unknown underdog teams are actually well known among the community of people who play these lower townhall leagues. Shadow here leads a clan called Guilty Eight, an extremely strong Japanese clan that has been playing in TH8 tournaments for years.
The Japanese community, especially Shadow has also been well known for their base building, they were one of the first builders to implement spring framing with walls to maximize the value out of them. They had also caught on to the slightly less range of wizards compared to archers before most, and their builds often made use of it to mess with attackers.
Basically the competition in these prize money tournaments is more than most people think.

@@atom8088 why would they get recognition if most people are not interested in lower th level tournaments? Attacks in higher th level tournaments are far more complex than this and it's actually a big achievement if you manage to 3 star.

What th8 attack would possibly beat a th9 base ?
I'd say GoWiPe Or GoVaPe
Th8 and th9 have the vastest lvl difference in the game.
Access to AQ, army camp space, more spells, x-bows is huge.
Also most troops have a big upgrade starting from lvl 5
I have triple every max town hall higher than mine using town hall lower except for th 9…i think might be impossible….if max th 9 and good base …yeah dont seemit happening

Fun fact: I’m the one who suggested to limit CC troop/spell levels based on town hall levels to Darian on an AMA right before they announced that change. It’s safe to say this war would’ve been way different or might not have happened without that change.
