Major fangirling went on! I had so much fun on this tour, I highly recommend it.

It's so funny to see houses that are used in Gilmore girls and then pretty little liars, and hart of Dixie and everything is the same but slightly changed. Love it. Wish I could go there

I loooooove Pretty Little Liars. I wasn't sure if I would like the show. Last summer I was bored and decided to check PLL on NetFlix. I was hooked. I missed this last season but I'm so glad it's going to be back on.
Years ago I went to Universal studio. At that time they were filming Psycho 2. (Many many years ago LoL). I had the chance to meet the actor who played Norman Bates. He was so nice and spent time talking to us. Now Universal Studios is using the same house and set for the series Bates Motel.
Yes! Netflix is so awesome for finding new shows and being able to whip through seasons. Watch Season 4 as soon as you can. It was seriously so good but also so intense!

Watching this video because I'm a huge fan of PLL & I'm going to California in June. I've heard of the tour & I wanted to do it when I go to Cali. hearing a personal story really is great :) This is awesome, I'll probably be fangirling as much as you when I go!
this was so much fun to watch! its crazy how many props they use! it looks so empty without everything there.
Yay! I know. My eyes were huge just seeing everything and getting some of the 411. I was sooo happy that we got to go on the sound stage.
*sniff* I wish you were here! Then I would just make you come over every Tuesday night and we could have little PLL parties.

Please let me know how it goes! I am thinking about going again in a few weeks and going on a weekday instead of a weekend but I am curious as to how the two will differ.

hahaha! I know! I started fangirling when I was editing the video hahaha. It was such a cool experience. There are somethings I forgot to mention and I am like darn it, but whoo whoo PLL. I am glad others are so excited for the show.

I went on a tour of the set and inside the houses in the stage because we are family had friends of the staff
I always wonder like when in PLL they look out the window are there greenscreens or something?
and also on big bang they film the ones that taking longer not in front of people but if it takes a long time they will feed them

Cutie Tan I hope you have a great time! I think there are pros and cons to going each time. We went on the weekend so there was no filming which meant we got to see more of the sets. When you go during the week you might get to see some of the staging for filming but you wont be able to go on sets.
When they take your phone and cameras away, do they let you go forward with the tour just like that, or is there something they do to make sure that you aren't hiding a recording device?
I read the "PLL" Set is the same Set for "Gilmore Girls" is that true
and i said that too and i was naming all the rooms but we couldnt go to arias room cause there was a spoiler
It sounds like you had such a great time! Would you mind telling me how much it costs? I would love to do this when I go to California cause I love PLL but I also watch the Mentalist so as soon as you said that you could see that set too I was like omg "I have to do this".
Melissa Margis The price may differ from when I went. Go directly to the WB Tours website and the will have the current pricing break down. We did get to go on the Mentalist set which was a lot of fun! I highly suggest it.

What's the difference between the studio and deluxe tour? Do you see most of the same things?

OMG, I love this. PLL is my all time favorite and I'm so jealous that you got to see it. I can't wait till I go up and get to do this... If you don't mind me asking, Which tour did you pick? I know on their site there like three different kinds...
babygiggles75 I did the VIP tour. We also went on a weekend which made it so we could actually go on sets. When you go during the week, if they are filming you can't go onset. But if you go when they arent filming (while they are on break) you can also go on set. But be verbal with your tour guide. She would ask what people wanted to see and most people were kind of quiet so I told her I loved PLL so she basically catered to that since I was the only one really speaking up.

I'm going next year for my 13 y/o girl who's obsessed with pll!! I have a few questions that I can't find online! When you said the cast sometimes wave, Is that only deluxe? Do you only get to go around the inside in deluxe? I'm wondering if it is really worth it all the extra money!

I personally did. I had a lot of fun. However it looks like they added a portion called Stage 48, which was not a part of the tour when I did it. It actually looks like it would be very cool.
Do you know if you get to see these sets when you do the Deluxe Tour? I so wanna see the Pretty little liars and Gilmore Girls houses :( But it's so expensive when you do the VIP Tour :(
It depends on whether or not they are filming! PLL has started up filming again but if you go on a weekend you might be able to see the set.

x0x 779 it depends on how in to it you are. For me it was totally worth it as I love the show and it was so interesting to see how they shoot and how every thing worked, unfortunately though, because the show is over, they took down so much of the filming areas, so there would be little see at this point :(
