- Guys, you DO NOT want to miss these crazy fun things to do in Tokyo with kids. Japan is all kinds of crazy and amazing perfectly balanced together - it's the perfect amount of crazy and fun that all kids will love.
If you're in Tokyo as part of your Japan family holiday, then you need to tick these 12 attractions off your bucket list. From the insane and crazy Kawaii Monster Cafe to an unforgettable day at Disneyland Tokyo, Yoyogi Park, Tokyo Skytree, Akihabara, Edo Museum and much more - this is one city (or country) you'll keep coming back to. Guaranteed.
Bear in mind, even though 12 sounds like a lot of attractions, I'm barely scraping the surface of all the Tokyo attractions for kids there are. The city is basically like a gigantic adult and kids' playspace with soooo much to experience and do - you will, literally, never get bored. All you'll want is more time in this incredible city. Plus, your kids will be begging to come back time and time again.
So, if you're visiting Japan with kids, try and squeeze in some (or all) of these Tokyo highlights. The only regret we had was not booking a longer holiday to see, eat and do more.

OMG i am loving the view of japan ty for showing me this beautiful city Im gonna take a trip there someday soon and ty for showing me what ill be seeing🙏
Great video! Very helpful!
Thank you so muccchhh!! Really helped
Very helpful mate, we are about to embark on our maiden Tokyo trip with our 3 young kids and this has been a great guide by which to start!
Great video I love how you put the attraction first before showing us the name of the places so we can write down whether we want to go see it or not
This was AWESOME
Very very informative video .I have never seen those things in others videos except the temple what I have seen in this your video .I give you 10/10 .
Nice couch!!
Highlight of odaiba is def teamlabs now for me - i havent even been to gundam statue the many times ive been in tokyo - its always refreshing when we see your episode because you take the kiddo angles of exploring town which is awesome , cant imagine mini nick running around haha anytime soon
I wanna go to monster cafe
We wanted to check that out too but couldn't really do it with the kiddos. hahaha Mini nick will give more chance to check out kid stuff in Japan lolll
Very well put together video! Can't wait to one day try some of these things (even without kids) :D
Thanks! haha totally enjoyable without kids.
Deana and Phil kids Natalia video CZcams Natalia
Odaiba is my fav too. Been there so many times.
Great list Tina 👍 You nailed it! We quite liked Odaiba. Javi became obsessed with Gundam. He was begging for a Gundam toy for the whole trip. We gave in on the last day and got him one for the flight home to keep him quiet on the plane. Legoland was also pretty cool for kiddos.
Andy is also obsessed about Gundam. He can show Javi his collection next time you guys come to Melbourne 😂 Ooooo yeah legoland would be next time we visit!
Monster themed cafe 😀
The video is well made. You deserve more subscribers & views! Keep it up. Surprised Ueno park / Ueno zoo wasn't mentioned though.
Thanks so much! Ohhh.. not gonna lie, we totally missed that one. Will have to include it in our blog post! Thanks for letting us know!
Sperm lol! 😗, thats goku’s flying cloud ☁️
@the world n us - Agreed. 100% spot on.
Japan looks so nice 😀😀
Thx for sharing.
I want to go!
We dont have kids, but .... I think we could count as kids.... hahaha :P
Got to go to Tokyo ! :D
Oh man JOYPOLIS!!! We loved that place! Haha, Andy, do you even squat! 😂🤣We so want to do more of the themed cafes, so many fun looking places to eat.
Harajuku during Halloween was awesome 😁Dam you guys, now we just want to go back to Japan again 🤣😂We can't just pick one we want to do, as they're all cool, but we'd definitely have to put the robot cafe on the list, as we haven't done that yet and one we will definitely do on our next visit, that isn't in your vid, is the Mario Karts 😁 We can't wait to throw on a costume and blat around the city on an oversized go-kart 😂🤣
haha nah he always misses leg day 😂😂😂
We always talk about going back to Japan too! Oooooo yeah Mario Kart was top on our list too but didn't have anyone look after kiddos 😭. Have you guys tried it? We've had friends try it and they had a blast!
Nah we haven't done the Mario Karts yet, they didn't exist yet the last time we were there and I fear if we don't go soon we will miss out. They just got successfully sued by Nintendo, but are still operating for now. We definitely want to do the Tokyo one, but think we will even head to back to Okinawa to try that one too 😁
Nice
coooooooooool
So I stared saving for my trip to japan last year. I was going to go solo but now I'm having a little one this year. Your video really helps me to replan to take my new family when our son is older. Lol but now I have to save a little more so it will be a while before we go :p.
Awww congrats on your little one, what an exciting chapter in your life! You definitely need to visit Japan.. it's super kid-friendly, safe and ridiculously fun. Hope you get around to visiting soon. Thanks so much for watching!
@@HangryByNature thank you 💗
I live in New Zealand and never been out of here and I hope to go to Japan one day :D
Really hope you get to visit when everything gets better again!
😁monster themed cafe looks really cool even as an adult. Really does look like Alice in wonderland. We tried out a maid cafe just cause we're in Japan kinda weirded out by the experience 😂 yoyogi park was basically our home cause we lived near by and walked through it too get to the shops. Great video you guys looked like you did a lot. Hey Tony the tiger 😁 y'all ever watch Jin rap battles?
Peter and Yen peter there is always a kid in you - just have to channel your inner goku 🐒
Did you guys try the animal cafes? they were really fun too. We lived really close to yoyogi park too. It's so nice. I have only watched that video when he says the Tony the tiger part 😂😂😂 Do you know of that guy Tim delaghetto from wild'n'out. He is really funny.
The “squirt” is a building designed by a famous graphic designer named Philippe Starcke for Asahi beer.
Shotgun Cafe 🤗☕🙏
Good video. Can you also pls help produce “best snow park for kid in Japan”?
We will keep that in mind for our next visit to Japan! Thanks for the suggestion
6:20 I was told that was a beer foam since it’s Asahi’s (beer) bldg.
Haha it looks nothing like beer foam! Someone told me it's meant to be a flame but the flawed design couldn't hold it up so they had to lay it on the roof sideways.
It’s interesting hey how many bizzare things we see in Japan.
We heard that robot restaurant is a tourist trap from the people who have visited it, is it true? We decided not to go there even though it’s very close to our hotel where we stayed in Shinjuku during our Japan trip.
Nice to see a different perspective from your videos for a family with kids. It’s so different with our ‘adult only’ itinerary😄
Two Hungry Diners
Japan has many bizarre but so funny at the same time.
If you know what to expect when you go in, then it's not so much a tourist trap. We found it to be exactly what it is haha. You don't go there for the food. It's the weird show they put on.
hahaha we wish we could see Japan's 'adult only' itinerary. Heard it's lots of fun too!
We are headed to Japan with our kids and my son is 11, would you feel comfortable taking an 11 year old boy to the show? I have read mixed review about how appropriate/inappropriate it is. Thanks!
Cool video!! What is this Sayonara-Song in the background?
Hi there! Thanks so much for watching! Do you know which part of the video?
It‘s up to around 3:20, very good pick! Who is the artist? Thanks!
It's one our favourite artists Ooyy and song title is Tei.
Hi,, what baby carrier are you using in this video? :)
Hi there! =) we use the Baby Tula carrier. Fantastic carriers, and keep an eye out for their mesh back ones, good for warmer countries.
@@HangryByNature Thank you for your information. I'm planning to go to Japan with my kiddos and and your videos really help me. Thanks for sharing. 💕 I also have 1 toddler and 1 baby,, I was thinking to bring 2 stroller, but decided just take 1 stroller and bany carrier.
for my childs school work
Hi, could you please tell me the name of the karaoke place you went to?
Hi Natalie, We went to KaraokeKan, I think it was in Shinjuku or Shibuya. one of the 2.
Did you find Robot show was scary for little ones? I will have an almost 2 year old, and I'd love to go but not sure?
Hi there! I wouldn't say it's scary, per se. There's just a lot of loud noise, music and lights, but that might scare little ones if they're not used to it.
Couple things to note. Robot Restaurant is in the middle of Tokyo’s red light district, not always the most kid friendly area. Probably ok during the day but a bit more adult at night. Just beware there may be adult entertainment in the area, and I would avoid entering any bars or clubs with kids. Robot restaurant show used to be more adult oriented but has been made more “family friendly “ in recent years due to overwhelming tourist demand. I would probably take the older kids to this one, and better to go around noon.
It’s the Asahi beer hall
Selamat malam 😎
Apa kabarrrrrrr? Haha can always count on you to be first in now, ey?
Hangry By Nature first comment - watching it now haha
A sincere question, I really want to take my wife and 2 kids to Tokyo but I was wondering if only English is enough to get by because we dont speak any Japanese?
Thank you
Great ideas, but the music was annoying and too high of a volume in relation to your voice.
That statue is not a replica, it is a gift from France to Japan.
That's also true George - it was a gift from France for one year (April 1998 to May 1999) but due to it's popularity in Odaiba Japan made a replica in 2000.
amzing country they are always pioneer thanks for sharing I enjoyed watching I invite you check my last video you will enjoy
