    Thanks for the test

What a legend!! The 600c ii doesn’t seem loads brighter in this real-world test. Seems like most of the ‘increased output’ is due to chip size and beam angles rather than actual power. Probably not suprising

how effective is the LS 600c Pro II compared to the LS 600x and 600d? I was planning to buy 1 LS 600d and 2 LS 600x for filmmaking purposes. Can I change them with the LS 600c Pro II, and will it get the job done?
      Thanks

Definitely love the side-by-side comparison. Very professional even if does take a while to setup and really get the data correct.

I would be really curious to see the same test with F10 fresnel

My 300x has the same problem with color shift. Compared to my 600D at daylight they do not match

    Great job !!! ❤
I’m currently working on a project and I’m aiming to achieve the best lighting possible for my cyc wall.
    Here are the details:
    Cyc Wall Dimensions: Approximately 4.88m (L) x 2.79m (W) x 3m (H)
Camera Setup: Sony FX6 with a Sony GM lens 1.4, shooting at 5600K, f/1.4, 23.98 fps
Goal: Achieve the best-exposed and evenly lit image on the cyc wall in a daylight environment
Height: I have only 10 ft (3m) of height
I’m considering using Aputure lights mounted to the ceiling. Specifically, I’m interested in the types of lights, their placement, and any tips you might have for achieving one unified and well-exposed vibrant cyc wall. What are the most effective light sources in this situation? Would panels be a good choice? How many sources would you recommend? The cyc is only 2 walls.
Additionally, how effective is the LS 600c Pro II compared to the LS 600x and 600d? I was planning to buy 1 LS 600d and 2 LS 600x for filmmaking purposes. Can I change them with the LS 600c Pro II, and will it get the job done?
Thank you so much for your time and help!

On paper, 600c pro ii should have a lot more output. I'm curious why it's so close to the i version... I was gonna buy one, now I'm not sure anymore, really on the fence on this one.

I believe the 85% brighter stat is in use with the F10

@@AnotherCameraChannelthe funny thing is, on sidus link app on the illumination handbook section there's a bare bulb lux reading at 1m and 5600k, 600c pro II gives 21610 lux vs 22150 lux from 600d, there's no reading for reflector on 600c ii pro so I don't know what is going on with that information

      get the 300c and a 600 D, perfect match

@@LukasStumpf I already have two 300c, a 600d and a 600x, I was just amazed by the idea that the 600c ii would phase out the 600d much like the 300c phased out 300d ii for owners (no rental usage)

You’re missing the very first 600D.

The 600D Pro is the first 600D? 🤔

      No it’s not. There’s a 600D (non-pro).

    • @AnotherCameraChannel
      @AnotherCameraChannel  Před 2 měsíci +5

Pro was first, then they released the 600 non-pro.
They are the same chip, same outputs etc.
Just the Pro has Weather Sealing and more pro Wireless like Lumen Radio and it’s ballast is heavier because of it.
      From their website:
“When we released the LS 600d Pro, we also made a promise to create a tool that was more accessible and would revolutionize the amount of output most creatives had access to. The Light Storm 600d is a perfect light for any demanding lighting situation you may encounter as a cinematographer or photographer.”
I have both, they’re the same so no need to add it to this comparison.
