Two Days On Route 222

I can only imagine the amount of people waiting for this! Here is a comp featuring two separate days on the famous Route 222, and all the custom largecar trucks that it brought along! Some of my personal favorites were the double catch of the Scania, the S1900 International, and the Peterbilt "Needle-Nose!"

5:05 I think I ruined the arm pump for everyone with that guy. That clip has likely the last honk from him. He’s fallen silent on the horn for a few months now, doesn’t even look my direction.
11:13 I’m praying one of us gets him to honk again. Those are glory horns.

17:12 that would be Edward Yesik Trucking. He just bought two Diamond REOs. One is in the restoration process, but both will be used for shows. I had no idea he had that truck at 21:42
The clip at 25:20 is perfect.
26:56 he’s been using that truck a lot recently.. I’m hoping nothing bad happened to the 359.
35:15 four chime train horn and a refusal to honk for anyone.. I’m waiting to catch the guy in the company with a steam whistle.
36:00 best catch to date.
This is overall just a great video man. Multiple 9300s, a needle nose Pete, and a COE to top it off.

Extremely spectacular video Austin. I loved all of the largecars especially the Mack Superliner and I also liked the Scania, 9670 and my favorite one the S Series 1975 with extremely loud pipe sound. (S Series Does Jobs). Great one Austin

why do some of the trucks have the fire truck air horns they should be for the fire trucks only

That’s just an older style boat horn. Most square hoods of the 80s and 90s have a variant of it. Fire truck air horns are designed a little differently, as they’re typically a bit longer and deliver a raspier sound.
