Yeah that's crazy to think that if this man didn't talk he would be free. Now he has to spend 28 years in prison.
If they both kept shut they would've both been in jail... the case was thrown out by the judge because the prosecution's main witness (Big Mike) was now not cooperating, and since he already admitted to being at the scene of the crime the finger points to him.
@ Zino it wasn’t thrown out. Big Mike was indicted cause they had him and Von but from what I read, Ballistics only pointed to one gun. Since Big Mike recanted implicating Von but had admitted to shooting. They couldn’t put a gun in Von hand so Big Mike was the one who got charged instead.
