Just in case someone wants to cook a nice potatoe soup for 2-3 portions:
    1 teaspoon cut cress
    800g potatoes
2 carrots, a bit rutabaga, celery
1.5 liters clear Vegetable/chicken soup (e.g. cook a chicken and keep the soup)
    150gr Creme Fraiche
    salt, pepper, nutmeg
    parsley
peel the potatoes, wash them, then dice them
same goes with the carrots, parsley, ruabaga and celery
put that in a cooking pot, add the soup and cook it on low heat till the potatoes are soft.
THen get the pot from the heat, use a handblender to blend anything to a fine mash/puree, add the creme fraiche, put it back on the heat, let it cook for another minute or two and add salt, pepper and nutmeg for your liking.
When in a cup, put some parsley and cress on top...
When you have some cooked chicken meat add it too the while cooking but get them out before blending the potatoes. Or you add (precooked) sausages, roasted bacon, shrimps etc. to the second cooking.
    Guten Appetit ;)

In the Netherlands we have the same kinds of soup called Cup-a-soup. Other brands have a similar concept. There are also lots of soup variations.
Personally I best like the pea soup or Hungarian goulash soup. Asparagus, several Asian countries soups are also excellent.
Leaks are a common vegetable in Europe and used a lot in soups but also in vegetable mixes for diner. We stir fry a lot in the Netherlands.

Love that you instinctively realised that you need the proper bread to go with it.
There is actually one German baker in Japan, who also offers German bread, but naturally he had to adjust overall to the Japanese taste.

As far as I know curry comes from the indian word kari, which just means a lot of sauce.
The English occupation force soldiers and officers didn't like the indian styled rather dry food and asked for more sauce in it, because they are used to drown everything in gravy at home.
So some indian cook made them traditional indian food with more sauce and when they asked the cook what it was, because they suddenly liked it so much the answer was kari.
I like to believe this kind of funny story.

just regualr german bread is more substantial than bread from other countries. it is very firm and more savory. dark bread in germany is more on the side of whole grain bread like pumpernickel. but rye bread is usually slightly acidic (sour fermentation)... so bread is totally different here. people should try it

I don't think leeks are used much in Asian countries/cuisines; I grew up in Canada so I know what leeks are but coming from a Vietnamese household we never had leeks in our cooking and even less home. I think they're more common in western food. Also I think if you had toasted your white bread golden brown, it probably would've tasted better with your soups.

    Dear Shinichi, dear Satoshi!
❎ This message should not be a criticism - but I would like to draw your attention to something:
I have been your fan for about 3 years and it makes me sad when your revenue and clicks stagnate. I wrote a few weeks ago. It was about not understanding the reason for your many new channels. You answered me, which I found very nice. I also suggested that you make a short explanatory video. Maybe you do not want that, I do not know. So far, at least, I have not seen anything. But I would like to tell you that you could -really simple- make it easier for your fans and you will benefit from it!
Even me, as a fan who watches almost every video (except for the long livestreams for which I often do not have time) realized only weeks later that there are suddenly many new channels!
It would be easy for you to refer to the other channels in the regular videos (which most people watch) more often. I mean, not just say "look at my second or third channel", but with the name and logo shown in the video!
Many viewers find you by chance, as I did then. These people will never know what a great selection of topics and videos you have on the other channels. You will only find these if you are looking for them manually. Many random new viewers will not do that...
I watch CZcams on the TV via the Amazon FireTV app. Unfortunately you can not read the video description.
Please show the icons for your other channels at the end of the videos! Then everybody can click on them (also via FireTV) without having to search for them awkward. I believe that if your viewers could see the icons directly in the video, this simple and convenient overview would draw much more attention to the other channels and they would directly click, watch and maybe subscribe...
My very best wishes and all the best for you!!! 🤗🤗
