Odd... Have a 1999 E430 and have reset it before with the normal codes: Press 0 twice within 4 seconds, turn key off and hold 0 while turning back on and wait 10 seconds... only showed "Check Oil Level" every time... Pressed 0 four times and this time it worked. I have owned this car 4 years and change oil every 3,000 miles, but was not able to get it to reset the last two intervals. Thanks, don't know why it worked... but it did.
4 times did the charm .... and keep holding it after you go to zero and continue through position 2.. and I had to hold it longer than 10 seconds... maybe even 20 seconds before it first got to the 10000 display then longer until it cleared and went back to mileage.
