    31:30 Not just tempo, it’s just first level of music, it’s about rhythm.
    my body and lady’s body are my instruments for the music to express and to shape the lady.
    If the time is bigger/enough, I play with body weight, gravity resistance, body lines………I use the exact quantity for pull, release and go by pressure of the floor… it’s important to connect to the floor for all the above sayings…… then you have your style.

    Watched this video about 3 times, before I finally understood what Braga was talking about. Especially good is the description of the contra check, beginning at about 21.0 minutes. Is the music used La Cumparsita?

    Sono solo un principiante ma trovo la sua lezione estremamente importante e soprattutto molto tecnica.
    Al riguardo vorrei chiederle se ne esiste anche una versione in italiano.
    Grazie dell'attenzione.

    6:00 Drop and Impulse as the information to lead the lady.

  • @rogelee-TW
    @rogelee-TW Před 11 lety +3

    Drop to impulse the lady to act upon (preparation),
    "A" one two, the "A" is the drop(impulse) we are talking about here, Spanish Drag is used as an example.
    "A AH one two(& S)" for Promenade Link, also Contra Check as well, "A" for dropping preparation.
    Spanish Drag="Drop, Gesture, Body Weight"--"A AH one"
    "two three four, &" (pull up, close feet ); "Ah one" (Link)

  • @rubenbermudezfraile5479

    I think when he sais "caracteristics" (so many times during the speech), he wants to say "features"... His English is very bad :s

    I dont hold the same opinion, this drop is bullshit..When you drop you actually lose all your energy ... and then the figure looks very weak like Pietro performs on this video. I prefer cumulation of energy inside the body with not showing this action to everybody like in this bullshit drop, and than will effect strong powerfull movement which looks super strong and not like runaway movement with drop..
