Naval shipboard life has been described as being in prison with the possibility of drowning but those visits to Subic made it all worthwhile.
Spent 35 days there in 1985 and another 3 weeks in 1987

Best Liberty Port in the world USS MISPILLION AO 105 1966-1968
In 1964 it was the best liberty port, USS Cocopa ATF 101
I know my biological father is in one of those ship he meet my mother in Harlem way back 1968 in subic Olongapo

Loved Subic in 1986-87-88 had the best time on the USS Missouri
I was there in 88. It's interesting that the hair styles looks so different now, but back then I didn't notice any of the change in the last 36 years.
