    You were going pretty fast at times. It was also interesting to see how you could keep the amas out of the water must of the time.

      Yes, the canoe can be sailed without using the beam and floats. But in more challenging and exposed situations they provide a very useful "backup" to stability - buying a couple of seconds in a gust or broach to compensate and get back upright.

    interesting the regular canoe blew past the trimiran,what are those suits you gents wear dry suits?grew up in south Florida so they are not something I'm use to seeing,great video.ty
