The Jurassic Coast - Drone Footage

- The Jurassic Coast is a World Heritage Site on the English Channel coast of southern England. It stretches from Orcombe Point near Exmouth in East Devon to Old Harry Rocks near Swanage in East Dorset, a distance of 96 miles.
Chartered in 2001, the Jurassic Coast was the second wholly natural World Heritage Site to be designated in the United Kingdom.
Join me as we fly above the coastline and find some hidden treasures!
This is my first true cinematic video created, please feel free to give me feedback and comments below!

Locations include (In Order of appearance on video) - Corfe castle, Durdle Door, Old Harry Rocks, Disused quarry, Dancing Ledge, Wareham Forest.

Stunning film, evocative music choice.
Absolutely stunning. I love this area. It is somewhere i really want to fly my drone. Just beautiful. The sun reveal at 4.19 is epic especially with the music.
Some great shots. The shot at 1:20 going backwards withe seagull is great!

Stunning video! you definitely got brighter weather than when I went there! and those birds flying over durdle door and the cliffs are sunning!
superb film....been to many of these locations, except where the drone can go off limits ofcourse! it always feels like going back millions of years ago, when visiting the isle of purbeck and the jurassic coastline....

Beautifully filmed. I live in the Midlands now, but grew up in Poole, so know the area very well and will bring my drones down to do some filming in the summer. Thank you :-)

I spend many happy days on the isle of Purbeck, running , swimming along the Jurassic coast.
The area looks stunning from the air, and your rousing soundtrack , with the sound of waves and seabirds... how's that done?, clever mixing indeed. Was hoping for a sighting of The Square and compass and St Albans Head... maybe next time?

From that view the sun would be setting, not rising. Sea is on left side and land on right side so view must be towards the West. Sunset.

Stunning! Did you have to ask permission at the council to fly over those coastlines? I just bought a drone but they gave a million rules with it....I will be going there soon and want to try out my drone :)

What settings do you recommend?
Sorry about the long wait on this reply, settings all come down to lighting condition during that day, but for this I used 1080p at 60fps. Settings were all different per shot's were different days, different locations etc :)
Dorset Is just Best
Was it difficult to get permission for flying over some of those locations and who did you contact?
