YES,, definitely combine the 2 ponds into 1 custom pond..Also,, we love the Emperor Snapper too,, but it's time for him to move up & in to the big saltwater pond.

I think his thickness will make it fine if you fed the groupers properly for a while making sure full to brim. But I agree let him be smaller fish. Just don’t want have something that big in a small pond. They getting large and deserve the right amount of space
Maybe reach out to Paul Cuffaro and think about a custom built pond he's one of the most knowledgeable CZcamsrs when it comes to custom ponds and lives in Florida. I'd love to see you guys do a build series.

You should get a giant trevally from predatory fins. It would be a cool fish to grow out and even though they get huge it probably won’t outgrow the pond for a while and when it does you can donate it to an aquarium or something or back to predatory fins for the show tank!
You should for sure upgrade the 2 ponds for a 1 custom pond with a window. The blue spot stingray would be awesome! The emperor snapper should stay and maybe put in the bigger saltwater pond. The big wrasse should be called ember because the spots on its face looks like embers from a 🔥.
Fish stocking at night is definitely the go to move for the outdoor pond
The yellow wrasse's name should definitely be "Cardi B " 😂, love it or hate it....we all know her song Bodak Yellow.....and as you unboxed it, that's the first thing that came to mind 🤣
should check out predatory fins for some freshwater fish, i think you could cook up a sweet like community freshwater pond which would be unique and quite cool

Once you mention the possibility of turning your pool into a saltwater pond by your dock, I can't stop thinking about it. What if you put a giant ocduplus in your pool pond, you'll probably crawl out right, maybe a crawl back when it was done feeding in your need to come out. I love octopus. I live here in San Diego and we have. Some pretty large aquarium here in San Diego. LEGOland has one Sea World has 1. The scripts aquariums in La Jolla have one, and the Monterey Bay aquarium of North is pretty d*** right.
What about putting the emperor snapper in the pond with the groupers. Nick bingo has a grouper with one with a 5000 g pond in his garage. But i vote for a custom pond build! Your options are cool, black tip, blue spot ray.. but i think you would need more space for them all too then
Cool stuff. Love your enthusiasm! I wish you and FGJ would add more rock and substrate to your tanks. (At least 1LB per gallon.) I know it's boring and not sexy but you have these nice tanks that are empty. It's like buying a sick house and then not putting any furniture in it.
Shark Boy is one of my favorite fish you all own, he is such a character.....when you go to his pond he comes up like look at me. Dont get rid of my boy.

My suggestion would be attempting to move the Emperor Snapper into the main 1000 gallon saltwater pond, he should quickly understand that Pots run the show, and you can upgrade the two 300s to one 1000 gallon.

I think you should take and gift that Emperor Snapper to Paul Cuffaro for his new salt water pond.
Best bet for the emperor snapper is to throw him in with the big boys, he should be aggressive enough and big enough to withstand the big boy groupers

Building the pond would be cool especially since you could customize it to your liking and you could build a section thats apart of the pond but not where things can cross for your emperor snapper so it doesn't attack anything and it still in the same pond with the fish 🤔 you could even build the section in glass so if you had side windows you wouldn't see the glass that separates and it looks like its just the emperor's area

*If you are going to redo that area in the garage. Might be an interesting idea if you put in a shelf system to hold multiple aquariums and you could have them all salt water or all fresh water or salt and fresh. Even could have aquarium(s) for wild caught fish off your dock.*
It's going to be hard/impossible to find a blacktip/free swimming shark online. It's impossible to ship one because of their anatomy, it requires a lot more work and FedEx and such aren't equipped for that. You'll have to order from an actual local breeder or farm to have any luck

You guys should get yourself. Some red tail catfish. It's fresh water. They grow really fast. They're predator fish. And they grow really big. They would make your groupers look like babies.

Name the yellow fish sunshine,build a custom square pond 1,200 gallons combine everything from the 2 in there except the emperor grab a Bonita from the bait shop split it between the 2 groupers then give the other stuff shrimp don't feed the emperor so he'll be feisty while the others are fat and lethargic he'll nip at them and establish some domince in the hierarchy of the tank and should be left alone by the time potz and panz are hungry again

Why don't you hit up Paul cufaro and give him the emperor snapper for his new salt water pond while also taking a look at his new saltwater pond he just built for some ideas/reference?? Just some food for thought but it'd be a cool video. You're both in Florida and love fish so I don't see how it could go bad.

Bro you live in Florida. Blacktips are in Group 1 Sharks which have no size limit and you can keep one per day. Head out to the mangroves with Jack on the main and find a couple of juvenile blacktips. The time has come my fish guy
