Thank you for this wonderful documentary about Raven! Raven Wilkinson's family was close to Langston Hughes. She shared a few stories with me about him. Raven was my neighbor. It was a treat to stumble upon this video as I think of her. She passed away recently and I am missing our long talks but listening to her voice is calming.

Thank you so much for watching! It was our privilege to document Raven's stories in our humble student film!

Thank you for making this video about another, little known Black woman, that helped change the world! May the Creator bless her soul. Job well done!

Thank you so much for this documentary on Ms. Wilkinson. I was taught (among my many instructors) by another of the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo - she had been a principle and very famous. Madame Nathalie Krassovska - tough as nails, I am 72 on the 21st of this month. Madame was 72 when I took from her - we learned so much. She had said the same thing (she didn't speak a lot of English - mostly Russian her native language and French (the language of classical dance)) but she did talk about the same things Ms. Wilkinson does - it was a train and a a city and a train and a city. But Ballet Russes de Monte Carlo and their tour and sacrifice is why we have classical dance today!

Thank you for this video!! I teach dance in Philadelphia School District and my students loved learning about Raven!! I normally don't get a chance to show a lot of videos, but since we have been online we have been able to deepen our studies....

Thank you so much for this beautiful video. My soon to be 4 year old daughter saw a picture of Raven in one of her books and she became so interested in her. I decided to scan YT to see if there were any videos of her. We really enjoyed your video. I hope you all received a great mark on your work too! x

Fantastic video! Does anyone, or the creator, know where I can find that first interview of Wilkinson?

This is the interview I'm afraid, the outtakes were not published anywhere. We filmed and edited in our university for this film.
