Crossing the Southern Boundary of the TROPICS on our Way to Swakopmund _ E7

We travel through the desert, via the little town of Solitaire, across the Tropic of Capricorn, all the way to the Atlantic coast where we camp in Namibia's adventure capital, Swakopmund.
Solitaire is known for Moose McGregor's Desert Bakery and it's famous apple strudel, but ... we didn't get to taste any ... The bakery was closed so we headed onwards into the vast expanse of the desert plains, through the Kuiseb Canyon, and on towards Walvis Bay and Swakopmund.
From here on in we're 'in the tropics' ... having crossed the Tropic of Capricorn, 23 degrees south of the equator!
