I don’t believe he has anything against her personally, but she was jealous of the attention given to Shelly and the other talents at MVP. Why then would he want to take her back when he has so many new talent that has his focus at MVP, and she wants undivided attention? I am praying for her full restoration, but never turn your back on who was the driving force behind your success. Melanie Walker was on the cusp of breaking the 400m record when she abruptly quit MVP and destroyed her career. Sadly, she never even got to make the money that she was capable of because she didn’t trust Franco’s judgment as to her ability to be a world champion in the other disciplines she wanted. No matter what, Franco has proven himself to be the best coach in Jamaica no matter how gruff or direct he is. He will never lead his athletes astray, and I believe he has their best interest at heart. I hope Elaine makes her way back to the top.

In previous interview, he mentioned about not wanting her back and it was mainly because of her husband… whenever he gives her instructions, her husband is telling her to do something else… I have heard that he went to her camp and disrespected his staff!!!

In summary he's saying ETH should go to the states because she needs more mechanical (i.e. machine) training rather than physical training which is what 99% of the coach in Ja do. He said he will not (ready) take her back because he has alot of young talent that's he's working with.
She said she should out grew MVP and hasn’t had a consistent coach since. He may not have produced another 10.54 athlete but he has a 21.41 athlete and now a 9.77 athlete. He may not be able to replicate her but she may not be able to replicate what she has done either. But I wish the double-double queen all the best and see her at the world championships in 2025 .
