Thank you so much for sharing! I am obsessed with freezer meals and will be subbing and binge watching. I don't make u tube videos or have a channel but I do know it takes alot of courage, alot of hard work to edit and come up with content. Dont let those come in here and ruin your jive.
You keep being you! Your channel, your content. People who don't like it don't have to watch.❤
Thank you so much! I love freezer meals too and they've been so useful over the years. I wasn't sure if anyone would watch me make them, but decided to give it a try here on CZcams. Thanks for watching and happy cooking!
Move over, Chef Ramsey!!!! Missy Moo to the rescue!!!! Loved your video. I like it when people are just people1 (Music cue) They're the luckiest people in the world!...sending love and hugs! You go girl!
A tip I have learned if you put a slightly damp towel under your cutting board it will not slide around as much
This saved my fingers!! I'm on blood thinners too and I cannot risk it lol
This is the first video of yours I’ve seen. I’m happy it popped up in my feed. I was shocked you don’t have more subscribers. I subscribed and will check out what else you have on your channel!
Thanks so much! I just started my channel a few months ago and wasn't sure anyone would be interested in watching me cook lol. But I thought it'd be useful to share, so just went for it. Thanks for watching!
Just came across your channel. Keeping it real for everyone when you had to substitute different ingredients is what happens in life. As you noted that you can tweak the recipes to what your family loves. It's a win, win for everyone. I have a teenage boy that would love for me to batch some of the breakfast sausages with eggs, crispy potato squares, and cheese. He is not much for breakfast during school but after school, this would be great. Thank you for taking the time and bringing great recipes.
Thanks for watching! Agreed, you just got to roll with things in the kitchen sometimes. Let me know how they turn out if you try making him the burritos - I included them in my Reheat Video in case you'd like to see how we heat them in the morning!
Just came across your channel…….love your recipes and how you do all the description first and then we see you cook❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hi, I loved this video, so nice to see family freezer meals that aren't casseroles!! I'm going to be trying some of these recipes 😊
Thanks so much for watching! Let me know how it goes. Check out my reheat video if it's helpful for you to see how these turned out!
I love that you did breakfast lunch dinner ideas and not big batch cooking its just me live alone this is perfect especially breakfast i hate cooking it not a morning person lol
Thank you! And same, I'm not a morning person either - love to eat breakfast but dread cooking it every single day fresh.
Girl, don't apologize to people about your plastic bags. Use as many as you want ❤ whatever makes it easier and affordable! I love plastic bags and will continue to use them!!
Thanks so much! We gotta do what works best for us in the kitchen, especially during these large cook sessions. Thanks for watching 😊
So glad I found your channel 👏 Everything looks good!! I really appreciated your full transparency on the corn tortillas going bad, it happens and you just switched it up to make it work!!
Wayne watched this one with me and enjoyed it! We made comments along the way and have decided to try some of this freezer cooking. I've always wanted to do that with my cookies but seem to just bake them all 😊. Next time I'll make a double batch, bake a batch and freeze a batch. Good job!
Thank you! We love having fresh baked cookies we can pop out when we need!
These recipes / meals look amazing my husband also loves Biscuits and Gravy 😂 & we are in Nevada as well 😅 what are the odds lol
Going to try the grilled cheese sandwiches for sure ! 😋
How cool! I added the GC sandwiches in my Reheat Video. It has helped keep us from the late night fast food trips lol
@@nicole_noelani Omg I know that's the hard part since we have so many options lol
I'll check it out😁
Hi from the U.K.! Very interesting how our meals differ. Breakfast in the U.K. tends to be cereals, toast or porridge, or a fried breakfast of eggs, bacon, sausage, etc. some eat yoghurt and fruit or a smoothie, or fried eggy bread, muffins with bacon and egg or crumpets. American muffins look very different to U.K. ones, even if you call them english! Ours are more stodgy, no air holes in them and smaller. You eat a lot of cheese and carbs too! I agree much better to batch cook and control the salt, sugar and additives.
I’ve been batch cooking for over 40 years, I helps you meal plan, use all the veggies and fruit bought so none goes to waste, and we know this is important with the escalation of food prices currently! Your meals with biscuits we would call cobblers, basically scone mix in drops onto the top of your filling.
We are all moving over to reusable storage in the U.K too, trying to refuse single use plastic from ending up in the oceans. There are silicon bags you can get for the freezer, and I’m currently using glass containers with silicon lids. It’s costly to do it all at once, but I’m building up my reusable containers as we go, reducing my reliance on plastic and foil. Great using alternatives from your store, sign of a great cook! Hubby tells me some of my best meals are what have we got in the fridge concoctions!
Hi Debra, thanks so much for the info! I've got to try the fried eggy bread and crumpets, sounds delicious. Good to hear from another batch-cooker - I agree it really helps with the meal planning and making sure there's less food waste.
I have a few silicone bags, but really need to invest in more. I currently don't have enough to on hand to cover my large freezer cooking days. I'll work on building up my reusable supply too! You sound like you got some great eats coming out of your kitchen - Happy cooking to you!
Love this! Thank you so much! I will definitely be trying some of these out!
Your video popped up in my feed (looking for make-ahead recipes for my niece - just had a baby, and has a toddler at home)… anyway, I love it!!!
I just wanted to throw a few suggestions your way…
I would love for you to put the measurements (even if just a “roundabout” amount) of your ingredients on the screen… kind of like how you put the little note that it was “filmed when completely cooled. I know most of us don’t measure things “exactly”, but if you have the measurements, that would be a Godsend!
16:19> precook & drain your “brownable” meat… I always buy ground meat in bulk (ground beef, ground turkey, sausage), and brown most of it BEFORE I freeze it in 1-lb bags. Most recipes I make call for browned meat. If I have it precooked, I can just defrost it and throw it in! Spaghetti, lasagna, anything! That’s a tip from my Kiwi-Mom! I also go a step further, and always have some taco-seasoned meat frozen as well!
17:42> If you can find a glass or container that is “just” wide enough to fold your baggies over, it makes stuffing them so much easier (no spills/drips). I use a deep coffee mug.
* LadyKess: the damp towel is an amazing idea! It works!!
Thank you so much for your time! I hope you get more subscribers! You’re amazing!!
Hi there, thanks so much for the comment and tips! I've been trying to do better with naming measurements in my more recent videos, working on that for sure.
I've actually never pre-cooked my ground beef before and after reading this, I have no idea why! That would be a huge time saver!
And yes, I gotta find a better/deeper dish to help fill those bags lol, there were so many 😅.
Thank you!
I enjoyed your video. Good luck!
Thank you! I did a "reheat video" on my channel if you'd like to see how some of these meals turned out!
I love your freezer videos. I did copy the idea of the ham and cheese grilled sandwiches. I cooked one last night from frozen on the skillet, but it was still cold in the middle and I burned the bread. Maybe I’m supposed to thaw it first? Or my pan was too hot? Any tips? Thanks!!!
Hi, thanks so much for watching! You can either thaw first if you know ahead of time you'll eat one. If not, we usually toss it in the microwave for about 45 seconds just to unfreeze it, then place it on the skillet as normal. Hope that helps!
@@nicole_noelani thank you Nicole! I also made them for my 80 year old Dad. He likes a grilled ham and cheese, but they never have all the ingredients. Your idea of pre-assembled sandwiches is perfect. 👍
Okay, I do like most of yr stuff. I liked watching you! I have 4 kids so when the comment came up about plastic bags I was shocked. We have to care now, for our children later. You shop at Costco so yr not poor you can buy reusable storage. Not all the time, but we have to try right. 😢 for the future
Hi there, thanks for the comment. Though I do own some silicone bags, I have not yet moved to all reusable in the kitchen. There are other ways I do try to conserve on plastic and paper around my home though. My MIL handmade some grocery totes for me (which I love) to also help lessen the use on grocery bags at the store.
@@nicole_noelani Hi, to be clear Nicole most of what I said was not directed at you. Sorry it came across that way. I should have had better verbiage when commenting, I also use plastic, I do try my best not too. I think it was the "use as much plastic bags as you want" that upset me. I have some reusable as well and I know their not cheap, I run out fast! I do like yr videos tho!!😀
I stumbled across your channel. I like it I liked the recipes, many of which I will try and you have a nice manner of delivery. I just wish there was more talking and A LOT less music. Talk us through what you are doing and you can even give us your insight and tips as you are preparing recipes. Currently I have to keep my eyes glued to the screen in case I miss something. Just a thought.
Thanks for the great feedback! I do have a couple pre-recorded coming out in this same style, but will definitely try to add more talking in future videos. Cheers to great food --
@@nicole_noelani Personally i love that its mostly music while cooking :) its very relaxing and i dont \have to try and hear it over my kids as much haha
@@badwolf_gtv7725 Thank you! I know that struggle lol. I have to do some heavy editing sometimes because my 16 month old loves to use his "scream voice" when he's playing!
Moving on the music and too much talking at beginning is too much. Great ideas though. Thanks for sharing😊
Thanks for the feedback! I do try to do less talking in my more recent videos now. Thanks for watching
Yay, I found another channel to binge watch! I more or less work along with these once I get my own stuff gathered up and then watch it again (severe ADHD with executive dysfunction issues, this keeps me on track). I'm loving these!
Thanks for watching! That's the best part about cooking in your kitchen, you can follow recipes or switch up it up once you have your own ingredients gathered. Happy cooking!
@@nicole_noelani 😮😅😊
