The Bank of England have released a new series of polymer banknotes which feature the portrait of King Charles III. I now have my first £20 banknote from this series, so let's take a closer look.

The new design will actually be used alongside the old one, there are no plans to withdraw the Queen Elizabeth notes for the moment. 😊

I think for the coins in your country, still the 50 pence with the portrait of the current king of the UK and the Commonwealth entered into circulation.

There are 3 50p coins featuring King Charles now in UK circulation, they are the Queen Elizabeth memorial coin from 2022, the coronation coin from 2023, and the definitive 50p with the fish on which is actually the rarest of the three.
