  • You might have some difficulties as you learn English because of all the idioms and sayings we have that don't always make sense. You learn the English words, but when you translate word for word, the result doesn't make sense.
    In this English lesson I'll help you learn some phrases and idioms that are commonly used, but not easy to understand at first glance.
    In this English lesson you'll learn idioms, phrases, and sayings like: you can't teach on old dog new tricks, worried sick, to have butterflies in your stomach, hold your horses, to think outside the box, and more!

    Thanks Bob..This is the best way to explain the commonly used idioms in English..Native speakers often use idiomatic phrases in their conversations and lack of understanding of such phrases would make understanding more difficult..So, it's important to learn them...

    It's hard to understand these phrases, I'm trying to learn to use them in each context but I seem to only remember a few simple phrases.BTW,I heard a song called "head in the clouds" it's pretty good and suits my music taste 😉🤔
