Some extra tips:
Watch out for black’s e5 pawn push to force your bishop away from f4, and then e4 to fork your knight and bishop on f3 and d3. So make sure black can never successfully make that e5, e4 pawn push. They usually play Re8, Qe7, d6, Nc6, and Bd6 to allow them to push their e pawn.
If you want to avoid this, just put your light-square bishop on e2 instead of d3, or make sure to take the e5 black pawn with your d4 pawn.
Put your Queen on c2 if your bishop is on d3 and instead of castling kingside, wait to see what your opponent will do. I played the London exclusively from 1100 to 1650, and waiting, then deciding queenside or kingside castling allows for some enjoyable games and tactics and sacrifices on the kingside. Queenside castling allows you to attack their kingside-castled king a lot easier and more enjoyably, but it also makes your king more vulnerable to their queenside attack.
Your aim in the London is to develop, castle, then stick a knight on e5. Your knight on e5 is very strong. Black will often have the following setup, especially at 900 to 1300 elo: Nc6, Nf6, Bd6. Here, you can usually play Ne5 (as long as there is no white bishop on g5, pinning your knight to your Queen. With a bishop on e2 this doesn’t matter), and if they take with their c6 knight, you can fork their bishop and knight with dxe5. If they take with the bishop, the same dxe5 forces their f6 knight away from defending the g4 square, which often has a black bishop on, which you can take with your light square bishop on e2 if they play incorrectly and move their knight first, before trading light square bishops.
After their knight moves from f6, usually to d7, you can play either f4 or Nf3, depending on whether your bishop is on g3 or f4. After this, you have a partially open d file, which you can place your queenside rook on, either by just moving it, or castling queenside if you’re feeling bold. This lines up your rook and their queen on the same file. You can then push e4 or c4 to open up the e file.
And of course, not castling at all is an option. Never think you HAVE to castle. The London is flexible. When I played the London, I castled kingside 60% of the time, queenside 30%, and not at all 10%.
how much dedication to write this?
I’ll be honest I didn’t understand this but thanks for the tip

You gotta jazz it up. Sprinkle a little Rapport-Jobava seasoning over the board. Top it off with mate in 17 moves.
Always gotta make your bishops cozy that’s the number 1 chess rule
My favorite opening except I put my Queen on C2 and castle Queen side so I have a strong attack
That dose weaken your king severely
That sounds like a great way to give your opponent a strong attack on the queenside
An even more aggressive way to play it when the opportunity arises is to forgo castling entirely and use your king's rook to support the attack.
It was not a good idea after I tried what you did lol. Queen had barely any breathing for me T-T
I like to do the same but only if black is behind in development and has already castled king side. Can be easily overrun if black is set up well so takes some judgement.
Thx for some tips but just rest and get better please, more content later, less stress
Most likely pre recorded, but yeah he should
Correct me if I’m wrong but I believe this is a re-upload
Most of the stuff at the clips channel are pre-recorded and most likely either post scheduled or Gotham has his admins doing the work.

Me: The Egyptian Opening
Hey Levy, make more if these 30 second short openings which are this concise. This will definitely improve our openings at least 😅
its tough because with openings like this, the london system, the moves from 500-1500 tend to be exactly the same however with more complex theories like the indian, the sicilian, the english, etc. theres so much theory behind different openings with those
If you play the E3 before you let your bishop out, then that's the Colle System.
Cool.. I can play chess but don’t understand any kind of strategy… now I have something to work with haha😅
For some reason I'm seeing a bunch of ur content.. guess it's time to start playing chess

"WHAT IS THIS WITCH CRAFT"
You can play the London against anything
I agree it is bs
You can't really play any openings on enemies with low elo because they usually do the dumbest moves or refuse to give up pieces so any move you make will result in trading a piece or opening up your defense. At least in my experience.
The black's pawn pushes threatening the bishop 🌚
It just goes back ignoring it
I picked the London since I liked the name and the structure.
Turns out, in my elo, 90% of people had the same idea.

Of course they would name it the London system, since they couldn't get the pyramids in their museum.
