Im only learning to drive a motorbike but the first day on the road ( it was the end of the lesson, im not sure if its called an ibt in other countries ) and I just stopped at a red light and then a car comes up and drives into the back of the bike, luckily not my bike(it was the instructors as i hadn’t bought it yet). The back of the bike got trapped underneath the car and it fell down sideways, my leg got trapped in between the handles and the road. I barely got bruised but my ankle hurt for a few weeks afterwards, i had panicked a small bit while trapped and pulled out my leg because i didn’t want another car coming and driving over me. Was not my fault at all but scared me, this is a nice video to listen to considering i got off pretty lightly.
I've had a tube in my nose and even that still makes me feel anxious thinking about it. The idea of one in the side of my chest is literally making me shudder.
I have taken care of many people with chest tubes and although they are not fun, they do their job. It's always good to have both lungs inflated so that you can breathe :)
I know what it's like to have someone go through something like this. On May 14th 2010, my father was riding his motorcycle when an idiot cut in front of him. The man was okay but my father didn't make it, he died at the hospital the following morning. Please, if/when you plan to ride your motorcycle, please be careful. I don't want you to end up like my dad.
