steam-hauled coal trains for Chengde steelworks, China

Chengde steelworks in North-East China was supplied with coal by trains on a very steep branchline. The loaded trains required three locomotives, one in front and two bankers.
Das Stahlwerk von Chengde im Nordost-China wurde über eine sehr steile Anschlussbahn mit Kohle versorgt. Zur Beförderung der beladenen Züge wurden jeweils drei Dampflokomotiven benötigt, eine Zuglok und zwei Schubloks.
