This actually looks like the solution I was looking for.
Awesome tutorial! I run booths at multiple events selling my cocktail mix and I’m looking for a way to make a portable bar. This idea is spot on.
Beautiful!
Love this!❤
That was an awesome build! Thanks for the video!
Great job on this piece! Looks great! You’re voice is so calming 😊
The track saw over a piece of foam; that's an amazing trick/technique I am going to use in this project. Great build, I appreciate you posting this.
You always make everything look so easy and seemless. Great build!

Beautiful 😍 and great tutorial
Thank you so, so much for watching!!
Exente gracias por compartir 😃
Thanks for posting this. I am going to make a smaller more lectern sized folding one similar to yours for doing sales in our little 10x10 popup, the only change I'll have to make from your ideas is spacing out one hinge so the two sides can lay flat on each other. Your video was good and clear and helpful to confirm my basic design.
Hi Scott! Thank you so much for watching & for your kind words! Wishing you all the best with your build & in your business!
nice u make it look so easy to build
Thank you so much for watching!
Nicely done 👍.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate you watching 🙏🏽
Thank you for posting this. No one had any DIY bars that were foldable! I need to make this for a big birthday party so thank you!
Ahh yay! I’m so glad I could help! Thank you so much for watching & best of luck with your build!
Let’s hope I could use this I want to make a mini pancakes cart almost the same design
Wow, awesome
Thank you so much for watching!
Man you are so talented..
Oh man, I’m just learning my way thru it! Haha I sincerely appreciate you watching!
Wholly crap! So cool, I just got an order for these for a catering company, thank you!
Thank you so much! I sincerely appreciate you watching - best of luck with your build!!
Thank you just built one.
That is awesome to hear! Thank you so much for watching!!
Very nice. Great job on this. Now, if I only had the workshop to build this.
Thank you so much for watching! & I totally get that! I dream of a bigger workshop everyday! 😂🙏🏽
***If you don’t have the right tools or a truck, don’t build it yourself!!! ****
I used this video to make our bar last week! We painted it black. Love it!! Instead of the 4inch diagonals, we just did two vertical strips on the front.
I do wish I had gotten regular plywood (the man at the store convinced me to buy a cheaper, smoother plywood thing). So I also had to buy an additional $40 piece of solid wood for the countertop (because it needed it to be sturdy since I was also cutting off a smaller rectangle on the inside).
I added a strip of wood on the back of the front piece so the hinges had a strong place to attach (remember, I did not get plywood). That piece also allowed the front wheels to attach in three parts vs the 2 on this video.
We ran out of time and just had one shelf built, but that allowed the cooler to fit under the shelf and was even able to fully open. Still need to paint the “inside” of the bar! 😬. We added a horizontal piece of wood behind the front piece to hold the shelf too.
Our bar ended up being 48x16.5 (outside measurements) and the countertop is 58x22. I think height is like 45 inches. I like that it’s a statement piece at the party.
The top could pop off if someone leaned on it, so we screwed it on. After the next party (back to back weekends 🤣) we will unscrew it and probably make a hole to put in like a dowel in the screw’s place to keep to top attached to the sides, or any other method to keep the top attached.
Regret #2!!! We used nail glue and we didn’t clamp it or anything so we have lots of gaps between the “plywood” and 1x2 strips. No one noticed but us, but we’re not satisfied with that.
Regret #3, the kids lost the 1inch brad nails, so we used long ones that kept piercing the “plywood” so we still have to go back and fix those spots with better sanding and repainting.
If we were to build it again, I would use better wood because it’s worth it! Spending a little more will make it last longer. We would also do it long in advance of needing it!
We build it at someone else’s house and used their tools, but time is what we didn’t have.
I kind of want to sell it and start it over, but like I said, we don’t have the tools and time (I don’t think their neighbors appreciated us cutting up to 10pm.)
I did get the “plywood” cut at Home Depot, but it was not as accurate as I needed it to be. So during the build, each piece had to be measured and cut individually as we went.
I decided to diy because we needed a bar and to buy a folding one like we used to have now costs over $500! The amount we spent for this one is much better, bigger, nicer than any price equivalent. I would go for 1x3s next time because the quality of 1x2s are not great and we had to go through many to find the right ones.
This is amazing !! Thank you so much for sharing your experience! I sincerely appreciate you watching and providing your feedback - that is super helpful! I hope your new build treats you great!
How much did you spend?
Seen this over the weekend and just finished one myself. Thank you!! If I could send a picture you would have it. Thanks again
Hi Michael! Ah!! That is so great! I’m so sorry - I don’t know how to use CZcams very well yet 😂 I couldn’t find ur original comment to send U a response!! Id love to see a photo if you have Instagram or fb, I’m on both as Noble Dizzigns! But great work & I hope U enjoy!!
@@nobledizzigns I just sent you photos on FM mess on your page. Thanks again

Thanks for the value you just brought me and my fledging beer bar business...BY THE WAY...any thing you would change or any adjustments made since. you built it? Thanks again
Genius
Thank you so much for watching!
excelente saludos 😀
Thank you so much!
nice 👍
You can put sliced bread in the bottom of the pan for fried foods.
Thanks for the video! Question though how would you make this resistant to drink spills and rot/rain? Im needing to make one that may just be stored outdoors
Amazing build! You have some beautiful babies too.
Thank you so much! They’re the best mini assistants! 😄
@@nobledizzigns Mine used to help daddy in the shop too. I dropped a box of tiny finish nails once. Before I could go get the broom and dust pan, they had them all picked up. And their mama isn't hard to look at either.
So where are you located? Not being creepy. I just like to know where my builders are.
Beautiful design. How heavy would you say this is?
You Nail it . Up next me Making one I will be trying it.v
Yes! I cannot wait to see!
Hermoso quiero más videos
Haha thank you !! It is on my to do list every day! 😅🤪🙌🏽
Really cool build! I'm all about the foldable / storable / mobile items. Which paint sprayer do you have? That's one item I desperately need for my collection!
Thank you!! Same here - foldable / mobile items are definitely the way to go! I use the Graco cordless and the Graco Magnum X5! They both have pros and cons but overall life savers for certain projects!
@@nobledizzigns Perfect, thanks!
Do you happen to have your measurements? And a list of all the materials used as far as how much wood? Estimate pricing ?
How much did it cost you total to build? I am looking to build some for my business!!
Had you thought about using 2x2s for the inside framing of the panels to provide better support for the shelves rather then the 2x1’s? Thinking this would help with weight placed on the shelves but not sure I’m missing something. Also could reinforce the shelf material. Debating which would be better.
You totally could if you wanted! It would just add a tad bit more weight. I’ve built a ton of bars now using 1x2’s and they all support the shelf well! I definitely recommend 3/4” material for the shelf itself for strength. The weak point is more in the center of the shelf vs the edges, which I haven’t found a good solution for but I just keep the weight of items being placed on the shelf to a reasonable amount. Holds a full case of weight just fine! But likely not several cases of water haha
How much weight do you think this could hold? Do you think it could be used as a mobile coffee cart? (grinder, espresso machine, and some other supplies). Was thinking about putting a second bottom shelf in as well.
Hi! I’m so sorry I missed this text - absolutely it could hold those things! This version made of all 3/4” is super strong. You might just double check the weight capacity on the castor link and maybe go bigger in castor size if you’ll be putting a heavy espresso machine or anything like that on it but otherwise it’s solid ! 🙌🏽 best of luck! 💕
Amazing! How much did this build cost you?
Hi Ryan! I’m so sorry I’m just seeing this! Gosh, I built this one before prices sky rocketed. So today (if I had to guess) I would imagine this build to cost roughly $500 in materials if you purchase birch ply! (Plywood, paint, poly, nails, screws, glue, etc)
Hola de que material lo hacen?
This is great! I've been looking for ideas to create a mobile bar. I really like your design. Do you happen to have an approximate cost on material? Cheers!
Wow @Noble Dizzigns I just saw the horse trailer mobile bar 🤩 nice work!
Thank you!! Best of luck with your builds! Sheesh it’s tough to say but I’d estimate roughly $350 in materials to DIY this!
Ah! Thank you SO much for watching!!🙏🏽🙌🏽
Purchase kaun sa shop se kare
How much would something like this cost? Labor & material?
Just built one using this layout for a local catering business! Not yet sure on pricing tho…any help?
Wow! Do you teach classes? Amazing!
Hi! Thank you so, so much for watching!! Teaching classes is absolutely in my one-day goals!! Hope to be doing that soon!
This is awesome. If you ever decide to build for sale, you have a customer
Haha thank you so much! 🙏🏽 I appreciate you watching!
I built a version of this with your help. The pattern is not as clean (don’t look to closely! and we repurposed a footboard for the bar top. I bought but did not end up using the casters. it was easier for us to move all together on a dolly for my daughters wedding. Thank you so much for this tutorial!!!
Ahh this is so cool to hear! Thank you for watching & im so glad you tackled this build! I’d love to see it (I won’t look at the pattern too close! Heheh) I’m on IG and fb if you have either of those! 🤗
Just sent a picture on facebook. Again thank you for such an easy to follow tutorial!
Hello! How many pieces of 1/4 plywood was used for the entire build ?
Hi Aissa! I’m so sorry I’m just now seeing this! Hmm I don’t remember exactly but you’d definitely be safe purchasing one 4x8 sheet of 1/4” ply and ripping it down into strips! That’d be plenty!
For the side panels you put trim on the outside and inside. But did you do the front outside and inside?
Framing
Great question!! No - I only framed the inside of the side panels so I could sit a “shelf” on the ledge of the framing. I left the back of the front panel blank!
can you list all your tools
Hello! I am having trouble find the dimensions under the link with the family handy man.
Hi! I am so sorry I missed this message! I haven't had time to update CZcams/my website in over a year but am finally getting back to it!! I hope you were able to freestyle the dimensions and complete your project!
What kind of paint sprayer did you use
For this one, I used Graco Magnum x5 - amzn.to/3YRvACM
Great Job do you sell them?
Thank you so much! I currently do not!
Hi! Do you have dimensions and size info ? Also, size for the piano hinges and lockable casters?
Hi Alexis ! Yes! All of those details are included in my blog post with links! The post is either linked in the caption of this video or you can head to nobledizzigns.com to find it! Thank you so much for watching!
Titles should be "watch me make a foldable"... i went and entered my email and i dont see a dimensions under menu if your still assissting with that type of situation
So do you have to use all those saws?
You don't, actually! I am getting ready to post an updated tutorial where the box store can make all the cuts for you and all you'd need to do is assemble at home! Will have that video posted later this month!
Where did you get the Drink sign from?
I make and sell them! I don’t currently have it listed in my Etsy shop but feel free to email me at nobledizzigns@gmail.com if you’d ever like to order one! :) thank you for watching!
How many pieces of wood do you need to successfully complete this project?
No for reals why upload a diy video if she’s not going to give us exact instructions
Hiiii! I'm so sorry!! My local business kind of took off shortly after creating a CZcams and stole all my time! I'm FINALLY getting back to it and getting the website back up and working again. I'll be posting an updated version of this build that's lighter and easier to DIY as well, if you're still wanting to build a foldable bar in the future! :) Again, so sorry to have abandoned you guys & hope you were able to find what you needed!
@nobledizzigns Oh wow this is great timing as I was just researching and planning one of these. Do you know roughly how long until you post the updated version? Thank you!
@nobledizzigns do you have your updated version on your website yet?
@@MDtoBe94 man I have had it on my to do list for so long! We run a local small business that keeps us crazy busy and makes it so hard to post 😩 definitely aiming to get this up within the next 2 weeks!! 🤞🏽
Where can I find the "Drinks" sign that you hang on the front of it???
Hiii! I'm so sorry to have missed this message! Feel free to shoot me an email anytime if you need 3D signage in the future! nobledizzignsrentals@gmail.com
Can you give me the size tall, Long, and width?
Could you provide supply list and the dimensions for the cuts of wood ...tried looking for plans on etsy. Unable to find.
Hi there! I have a blog post with the step by step instructions you can follow for your build if you'd like! nobledizzigns.com/elementor-782/
What polyurethane did you use?
I typically use this one! Exterior, water-based, clear/satin finish: www.homedepot.com/p/BEHR-1-qt-Satin-Clear-Water-Based-Interior-Exterior-Spar-Urethane-Wood-Sealer-B820004/311625370
Can you please drop the link to the castors /wheels ?
Hiii! I'm so sorry I've missed this message! I hope you were able to find some castors that worked well for you! Happy to drop the link if still needed!
Would you build a Dj 🎧 booth some day?
Thank you so much for watching! Anything is possible!! haha
How much did those cost to build approx?
That's such a tough one bc lumber has sky rocketed since this build & price can vary quite a bit based on the type of plywood you choose! A rough estimate for this exact design would likely cost around $400 in materials, but of course can be higher or lower based on the quality of lumber. Thank you so much for watching and wish you the best!
Can this design be adjusted to be an 8 foot foldable bar? I want to make 2 for a wedding and leave with bride and groom one as a gift
It can! We’ve modified this version into a 7’ bar before just a couple things: it’s super heavy 😂 basically carrying 2 full sheets of plywood around. & then in addition to the two foldable sides, we added one more foldable section in the center to help support the center of the 7’ wide bar counter. Other than those things, they’ve worked great and have been used at many weddings!
@@nobledizzigns Thank you for your response. Do you have any plans for the 7' bar you built. I get that it is prob really heavy, but if it had the wheels does that help? We can order bars for the wedding, but they are really expensive and seem like a sad waste of money when you could have something to use later. I will keep one for myself and give one to the bride (my daughter)
I actually think a 6' table would be more appropriate. I think it would be plenty large enough so perhaps the dimensions for that if you're willing to share. I looked at your instagram. Congratulations on how you've created this amazing business! It's such an inspiration for women
Do you sell these? How can I get one
I used to! But now I run an event rentals business and only build to rent! 😩 You could find a local builder to make one for you though I’m sure! They can follow the tutorial on my blog 🤩
Are the plans still available for this bar? Can’t seem to locate them.
Oh really? Shoot! They’re not necessarily plans but here is step by step how I built mine! nobledizzigns.com/elementor-782/
No worries. Your video was very detailed. Can’t wait to try making one.
Thank you so much for watching! Wish you the best with your build!
What was the total cost
Oh gosh - it’s tough to say now with prices changing so much! For this exact build, I’d estimate maybe $500 for your budget! But that can always be modified (higher or lower) based on the materials & details you choose✨
how much does this weigh (roughly?)
Oof! That’s a great question. I’m terrible at estimating weights but in girl language: this version is WILDLY heavy hahah since then I always use 1/2” ply for my bar builds and it’s a world of difference! This version was all 3/4” but now I use 1/2” for the bases and only 3/4” on the countertop 🤗
I can’t find the plans for this cart at all
Oh no! They’re not necessarily plans, but this is the link to step by step on how I did mine! Will be posting a new video very soon too with an updated, lighter version. Hoping to have that posted in the next few weeks.
nobledizzigns.com/elementor-782/
how to order this cart
Hi! I’m so sorry I don’t sell these but hopefully you can find a local builder to follow this video and build it for U!
Do you sell this carts?
Hi! I currently do not - I'm so sorry!
So cute 🦵🏻🦵🏻 and 🦶🏻🦶🏻^^ ♥
4ft height correct
Almost! These are 42” height (3.5’)
This would make an awesome DJ table/stand as well! Nice legs by the way!😊
The sound is VERY low.
Yesss - this was one of my very first videos haha I'm sorry! I have figured out better sound quality since then though, thankfully haha Thank you !
Your self is very low!
How much would it cost for you to build another one of these 🤣🤣🤣
bwahaha Thank you so much for watching!! I haven't had a chance to post anything in over a year but I'm finally getting back to it and will be putting up an updated version of this build that's even easier! LoL
