Xbox360 e is a lot pretier if want Dolby soround sound just plug 3.1 av jack to av jack port in usb speaker or turtle Beach no complication in it super quiet you won't hear a thing when you play

Marlow Odeh I know right. Next Gen just launched with restrictions. Whether its PS4 charging for internet to Xbox One needing to be connected to the internet every 24hours, Old Gen is done so Microsoft and Sony has fixed all the problems their old gen consoles had

generally speaking, the fat console is referring to the older models that were usually bigger in some way. It also helps differentiate between the two.

My new slim is a lot quieter than my 1st gen Elite was, I'm very happy with it. The upgrade was a no-brainer for me as my 3 year warranty was almost up and my Elite had the RROD in the past. Traded it in at GAME for £100, pretty good considering it was almost 3 years old and the slim was £200

Why is the slim upside-down
So does the slim Xbox 360's fan on the side blow out air during games? Does that create problems with placing it against a wall or other surface?
The new 360Slim definitely has a shorter load time in games which makes your gaming progress quicker per session. The touch-sensitive buttons was a nice addition. What's funny is that if you thought Halo ODST in the campaign mode was on the short side before, just play it on a 360Slim...it'll really seem even shorter now.
I don't know why so many people are against the glossy shine. To me, that makes it look even cooler and flashier. I myself own 3 different 360s; a 360 E, and 2 slims (one glossy and one matte). All it takes to keep the glossy one clean is to keep a paper towel to wipe off finger prints, and you just have to be careful with how you hold it. Fun Fact: if you want even more shine, you should use polish over it. That black will be insanely shiny then 😎

@ConsoleMemories yeah only if you don't know how to handle it properly. If you go touching all over it all the time, thats how you get fingerprints and scratches. The majority of my consoles are glossy, and they still are super shiny and pristine to this day

hi , well i have got the old xbox 360 its been almost 7 years i guess or maybe more than that its been switched on and i dont have a power cord for that cause its costly , well i am planning to buy one but i cant confirm that the xbox will work . so do you have any ideas to just heck weather it work without a power cord . please be kind to give a rply .

More than likely it's a jasper, which is really reliable. On Xbox 360 S launch many spectated that jasper is going to be more reliable, but really they're both awesome.

Both the 360's are better than the Xbone though. I hate how it cant be put vertically. My PS4 takes up very little space but my Xbone takes up as much space as the original Xbox I use to have back in 2007.

If the disc drive is failing to eject on the older models of the Xbox 360 there is a simple way to fix it, I have perfected it before but unfortunately it isn't a one way ticket to get it working indefinitely.

Actually the power brick does it's job pretty damn well.One time there was tension issue,my light bulb almost turned off my PC restarted my TV reseted to channel 1 but my 360 didn't do a thing,I was playing Dante's Inferno(the cosnoel was connected to the monitor) and the game kept going.So yeah,it's huge but it's doing its job.
I still have my old xbox 360 (a.k.a "fatty") but its been repaired so much it's pretty much broken.
I'm planning on getting either the slim or the new one (dunno what it's called).
If i do that, is there any way to transfer the data from my fatty's external HD to the slim's HD or the "360 E"'s HD? thanks!

Yesterday I got the slim but I have the arcade still. But when I open the tray and close it. The power button still flashes when I close and I try to open it and it doesn't so I have to get up and move the tray a little.

Well, it all depends on the type of elite, you could either have a Zephyr, Falcon or a Jasper,
Zephyr's have a higher chance of getting 3RL, while Jasper's are almost as reliable as the slims.
why is the slim upsidedown?
Is your screen designed to output 1080p? Some TV screens will try to output it, even if they aren't true 1080p. It doesn't matter if you're playing in 720p or 1080p anyway as most games on console are only 720p and upscaled to 1080p, and the rest are typically under 720p which can look really bad. The next gen of consoles will probably be able to render native 1080p, maybe not at 60fps on games in 8 years from now, but they'll be able to do it like a PC can.
