I flew to Spain to try 'Real' Tapas - I was Surprised! 🇪🇸

- In this video find out what i eat in a day as I fly to Mallorca Spain to try Tapas! But the challenge for this video, is that I have to do it all in one day. So I take a flight with Ryanair from Leeds/Bradford UK to Mallorca Spain , have to find the best Tapas in Palma, try, it, and make it back to the airport in time for my flight out of Spain later on in the day with Ryanair. So will I succeed? Or will I fail? Find out in this video!

Go to Porto Portugal to try francesinha. The airport is a short distance to centre of town and loads places to eat straight outside metro station. Fantastic city .

Geneva is expensive, but such a lovely place. The chocolate was amazing.

I'm loving this new concept, my wife likes to fly out abroad with her friend and back on the same day and apparently it's very popular with Facebook groups dedicated to the hobby but I've never seen a food vlogger travel out on plane for the day just to eat lol, so well done on making your content a bit more unique than the other food CZcamsrs are doing 👍

Haven't flown for 40+ years - was much calmer back then - crazy hectic it seems now - very entertaining watching someone else go through it (find it hard to believe that passengers actually have to go outside no matter the weather to board a plane)

I did a day trip last monday to Ibiza. Just bought a few spanish produce from the supermarket and had a beer.

Loved the video, as soon as you mentioned that airport I knew you were flying Ryanair, it's their standard MO. Shame you didn't have time to go up to the top of the tower, it's a magnificent view. Be great to see you spend maybe an overnight in Paris, do the tower, go on river boat trip, and just chill in a café on a busy intersection and watch the life of France pass by.

Best Tapas is in Valencia….. They wander round the restaurant/bar with various tapas and you pick and choose what you fancy…. No tab you just pay by the number of cocktails sticks o you plate when you leave😃👍🇬🇧

Palma Mallorca wouldn’t be my first choice for tapas. Andalusia or Catalonia spring more to mind. That being said, it looked delicious and I love the Whetherspoons plate to eat off also 😅

Firstly, well done you for taking us with you on your Food Adventure! The Tapas looked delicious and was alot more in quantity than I was expecting. Very filling, which you needed with all that walking! You looked tired but happy, and you got to see sunshine and smell the Mediterranean Sea, what's not to love? If I was young and fit I'd do the same and take advantage of these cheap flights. 🥰

Wow good effort and what a great day , you must have been exhausted by the end . Although the tapas you tried wasn’t the most adventurous, there are a couple of really good tapas bars here in Edinburgh with some a wide range of authentic tapas dishes that I can recommend.

The food looked very authentic and nice to eat- glad it worked out for you this 2nd overseas trip, still just with a coke €31 is pricey.
I'd enjoy doing this, the only part that I wouldn't like is the 2+ hours waiting to board.

Get your shorts and a T shirt on mate 🤣 Best Tapas are from Andalucía region in Spain mate. Used to live there and they had some amazing one's. The meatballs and cured pork were my favourites

@@tims85 definitely it’s best to hear where the locals like to go. However you are taking it for granted these locals speak English. It’s hard to get English speakers in some places in England never mind the rest of Europe
Croquetas are made with a thick bechamel sauce and you are right, the prawn twists aren’t a classic tapa.
I don't think I have ever had croquetas before
Homemade Croquetes are lovely I've made them so worth it.Nowadays in Spain anything small is Tapas but not
authentic as it used to be.

How about Amsterdam for Stroopwafels, or the Dutch version of Fish and Chips ", Lekkerbekje (I think I spelled it right). Or my favourite thing to eat there, the famous Dutch pancake Pannenkoeken, with plenty of cream and fruit!
Maybe Paris for steak frites. Or just snack your way through Paris as I seem to always do. Burn your calories/work up an appetite climbing the Eiffel Tower! Make it a really big adventure and take Eurostar.

I’m stuck with this concept!! I love the idea and how accessible other countries can be! But I can’t help but think of the carbon footprint and environmental impact!
Though I suppose the plane is going to Spain regardless of if you are on it or not! So can’t be too much of a Debbie downer! Just something to consider :)
