The fact that Edge was able to go backstage with Mark Tremonti and allowed him to use one of Alter Bridge's music as his theme was awesome!! This was before One Day Remains was officially released too!
Such a great theme to have a crowd sing along to. Being at Clash at the Castle and having 60,000+ fans singing your theme must be such a great feeling Edge's reactions said it all. As soon as it goes "You think you know me" we all went absolutely nuts and to have seen Edge live when he plans to potentially retire in his hometown later this year is amazing.
Edge has the best entrance song ever. It hits hard and even harder when you can relate to the lyrics about essentially chasing a dream.
I still miss , Edge coming out to Never gonna stop, red red kroovy by Rob Zombie but Alter Bridge and You think you know me is a perfect EDGE entrance song.

I love his theme song because Alter Bridge is an awesome band.
Alter Bridge was formed by Creed's guitarist and drummer after their vocalist went off pursuing his solo, I think Edge using Metalingus was important for the band's success because most of the other song in the album was had a mixed review at that time.
And then we got blackbird which in my eyes was their real debut album
I always liked John Morrison’s theme. Suited him perfectly. His Jim Morrison inspired gimmick meant a psychedelic rock song was perfect. Also it was really unique compared to the rest of the roster.

Edge introduced me to Alter Bridge and it became my favorite band. The whole band is so talented that it is criminal they are not as known as they should be. Every album has amazing songs and all of their lyrics have powerful meaning. That's why Edge related to Metalingus, because those guys write from the heart.

I find it funny that we generally refer to Edge’s theme song (Metalingus) with catchline “You think you know me”… When it actually was carried over from one of Edge’s previous theme songs (his tag team one). “On this day” is probably a more appropriate catchline
