For centuries, the American story has been infused with the Christian story. Its traditions, culture, values, and habits largely revolved around the church and its teachings. However, since the 60s there has been a shift away from Christianity. Now Christians are ideological minorities. In other words, we are exiles yet again. How do we regain influence as we seek to preach the gospel and save the lost? In our message today, we will take a cue from the prophet Jeremiah on how to live faithfully in exile.
