    Hi, I noticed that you sewed on the Pro X, how large is this design? Can you go all the way to using the entire sew field of 14x14 (ish)?

    Hi, Thank you for the demo but I want to know if you have used it on more complex designs and how did it fair on the stitch out.

      Yes, I made a "family tree" design, and it worked great! Since I use Brother software, the machine uses the snowman sticker for alignment, and it always works great! Unfortunately, I cannot find a way to upload a photo here, so if you would like, send me a note to ManCaveEmbroidery@gmail.com, and I would be happy to send you a photo of the family tree design. I took the photo while it is still in the 14x14 hoop.

    Hi from the UK
    Thank you a very handy video. I have a question. I have got a used PR655 that came with a B arm frame. Can i use this on my PR655 machine? i don't see anyone have this with their six needle PR machines. If so, I would also love this mighty hoop.
    Thank you Gerry.
    Regards,
    Ann.

      Hi Ann! Unfortunately, the 14x14 hoop only works on the Brother/Babylock 10 needle machines, not the 6 needle...

    Is it possible to do applique on 14 x 14 hoop in the venture machine

    • @mancaveembroidery
      @mancaveembroidery  Před 2 lety

      That's a great question! I have not attempted applique using the 14x14. My thoughts are, if it is possible, you would do one part of your placement, rotate the hoop, finish the placement stitch. Then rotate the hoop for the first part of the tack-down stitch, etc. Another idea would to break the 3-part stitch (placement, tack-down, then finish/outline border) files into separate files. Copy and paste the 3 parts of the design into separate files, so one file would be the placement, one file would be the tack-down, etc. Please keep me posted on how it turns out! :-)

      @@mancaveembroidery I have the 14 inch hoop and the Brother software. If I split the designs, I’d there anyway to use the slit designs without the snowman sticker?

    Jerry great video. Where did you get the 14x14 hoop. I just talked to Mighty Hoops a couple of weeks ago, he said that 8x13 is the largest for my Baby Lock Valiant. Any help is appreciated.

      Hi Richard! If you contact Mighty Hoop and ask for the 14x14 hoop, they should be able to help you. Another fantastic resource is the group "Let's Hoop It Together" on Facebook.

    What type of projects would you use the 14x14 hoop for?
    I also noticed that you used your table attachment on your machine. I never use mine. Are there specific projects that I should have my table attached to my machine for?

    • @mancaveembroidery
      @mancaveembroidery  Před 2 lety +4

      Hi Shanda! I use the table any time I would need extra support, so the item I am embroidering does not pull down unnecessarily on my hoop. I mainly use it when embroidering on towels, as they tend to be heavier. I also do karate belts, so it provides a nice flat surface on the bottom of my hoops. The 14x14 hoop could be used for creating a large embroidered "quilt panel", back of jackets (that open up in the front), or towels. I have seen absolutely wonderful PhotoStitch projects on a 14x14 hoop - then then are framed and look amazing! It's fun to let your imagination go as far as possibilities. :-)

    Hi jerry who did your split design for you? I got a design done that’s split but since it’s not brother I am having a hard time getting the design to align

    • @mancaveembroidery
      @mancaveembroidery  Před rokem +2

      I used Brother BES software, as it has a feature to "split" the design. I believe other Brother software also has this capability. If you use the Brother software to split the design, you use the "snowman" stickers that help the machine align the split designs.

      Embrilliance does it, too. It works with Macs and Windows-based computers.

      In embrilliance, go to preferences, on the right in Hoop Style, choose, Multi-Position, then select Jumbo Frame 14x14. Another video said u need to transfer the saved design via flash drive for this size, not wirelessly like I normally do with embrilliance. I saw this on another video.

    Which brother software did you use?

    • @mancaveembroidery
      @mancaveembroidery  Před 2 lety +1

      I used Brother BES 4, with the Power Pack 1 addition, to split the design. There are many different software programs that will split a design, but what I like about using the Brother software is it utilizes the machine's camera and a snowman sticker to align the two different parts of the design.
