This is very useful I'm planning to come to Auckland within next few weeks under dependent visa . I am a graduate with TESOL qualification. I'm a English teacher too😊 just mentioned it to get more information from you. When you said about IELTS when you have the Tesol degree don't we have to do it.

If you want to teach at school, then you got to get the registration or else you can have your own tuition classes for kids.

Hi, Thank you for the informative video, I am a secondary school Physics Teacher, I have a Bachelor of Science, Postgraduate diploma in Nanoscience and nanotechnology degree (Both from Universities of Sri Lanka). In addition to that I pursued a Master of Science in Education from AIMS Campus which is affiliated with Aldersgate College. Is it possible to get teacher registration from the above qualifications?

No dear. IELTS is just a requirement. You have to fulfill other requirements too and thats why you need to do the NZQA assessment.
