The Letenské sady in Prague is a wonderful place to enjoy nature, culture and stunning views of the city. In these gardens you can find many green spaces, well-maintained walking paths, as well as benches for relaxing and picnics. The gardens are located on Letna Hill, which is one of the highest points in Prague, making them an ideal place to enjoy panoramic views of the city and the Vltava.
Leten Gardens is also famous for its entertainment and events.
Festivals, concerts and exhibitions are often held here, attracting both locals and tourists. There is also a restaurant in the gardens overlooking the city, where you can enjoy delicious food in a cozy environment.
One of the most famous elements of the Leten Gardens is the Metronome, a huge pendulum-shaped sculpture that replaced the statue of Joseph Stalin after it was dismantled. The metronome has become a symbol of freedom and democracy in Prague.

Hi Oxy.....very nice walk today, but you make me nervous when you get too near the drop down ro the river !!!! I remember my mother telling me she used to take me for walks as an infant in my pram,
there very many years ago when my parents lived in a flat at the Bio Oko complex .
