@@DudeDad When you go back ask the doctor how often you will need to get tested until you get the all clear. My daughter had a friend in HS who was conceived after his dad had a vasectomy and his mom had her tubes tied.

My husband got it done last year. The first few days he was uncomfortable but we kept ice packs on deck and ibuprofen going. Then he was good. I think what made him dislike it the most was that he had to make sure all the juices didn’t have seeds before he could participate in the partnered activity.
I did the laughing gas when I got mine done... The funniest part was the doc told his Alexa to play some chill music and the first song was a "Netflix and chill" type song... So there i was with my legs spread with the doctor down there and sexy time music playing while I was feeling quite loopy from the gas... So glad he skipped the song quite quickly... Rest of the songs were good

Hahhahahah this was hilarious! Taylors slowww walk and saaad look over his shoulder 😂. I was a surprise for my parents in 68 when vasectomies were still not very common. My parents already had 4 boys so a baby girl was a double surprise lol . a few days after i came home from the hospital, my Dad walked through the front door, sat in his recliner, slapped a bag of frozen veggies on his crotch and announced - DONE! 😂😂 he had gone off and gotten snipped without telling Mum. Apparently, he didnt want to worry her.
My brother was the product of a botched tubal ligation.

Make sure to go for those after check ups. My husband had his almost 10 yrs ago, ended up having a second vasectomy because he still had swimmers. First time didn't work. Dr told him that it was common to have to redo, he had even done it 3 times before.

I feel your pain went through the same procedure recently myself and unfortunately the local anaesthetic had not taken hold when he started not fun when you can feel everything. Remember to mark the date on the calendar so every year you can celebrate and mourn what you have lost. Lol.

A vasectomy is a personal/joint decision/choice depending on how u look at what needs to be done and for what all your reasons are for doing the vasectomy....
U have four adorable, beautiful and brilliant,cute, and at times they are, of course, also hilarious when u watch/video.
Enjoy all of them, each and every moment; the joys and frustrations - as u showed us viewers in one of your more serious video when u were concerned about your son Otto and his baby developmental milestones; that was a longer video, yet a very important one as in later years, parents are being told "how not to compare their child w others in your own family or your child w your friends' children of similar chronological ages", but these so-called professionals do not remember to advise parents on when a parent should be concerned medically or developmentally...
Their is humor. Their is pranking your wife, Heidi and even more fun w the follow-up video/s; and their is the sometimes seriousness of Life's reality.

Did the snip a few years ago, even made the doc brake down laughing after the procedure. I was only slightly uncomfortable for a day.
That stroller's got more juice than Taylor now. You know if you don't release "the troops" regularly, they will continue growing larger and angrier until one day, they decide to eat you from the inside out. Happy recovery, Taylor!!
I remember when I got my vasectomy, I had the doctor sit me up so I can watch the whole thing and he described and explained everything as he did it. No anxiety drugs for me. They didn’t recommend it. Just had to make sure I put on that numbing cream before I got there. I did mine after having four kids to what everybody wants to know though did you end up eating the frozen peas or corn that you use to keep the boys happy if you know what I mean.

I just had a Vasectomy done last month. All I can say is get three bags of frozen peas. Do 20 minutes of frozen peas on your undercarriage and then 20 minutes off, for the first two days and do get a few pair of underwear that supports the boys. Then just take it easy for about the next week and NO heavy lifting for the same amount of time.

To everyone on the fence about getting a vasectomy I just reply "Anytime, any place". That came from Tim Taylor on Home Improvement. Had mine done 20 years ago. Watched them perform the snip and cauterization. 2-3 days of blue balls, and got the all clear 7-9 months later. It's been fantastic since then.
We were "done" after 4 kids. Then, our surprise 5th came along.... in September, my husband took the same long walk into the doctor's office. I went with though because he said he held my hand through all 5 deliveries, so I had to hold his hand during "the procedure!" 😂😂 He still can't bring himself to say the word "vasectomy." 😅
maybe with less power and more safety features probably a marketable product, maybe a camera and you can take the baby for a stroll from home lol

Hahaha oh Taylor, you did a good thing. I still remember when my best friend's awful stepdad got his and was stuck on the couch for the next week and a half. Had us howling back then, no sympathy whatsoever! She actually had the audacity to sit the beer he had told her to bring him 5ft from him on the floor and tell him to come and get it. Then we ran. Ahh, the cruelty of teenagers.

I got mine done a couple of days ago. I wouldn't say it was the most painful thing I've had done, but it might have been the most *uncomfortable* pain. Like, it didn't hurt more than a root canal, but given a choice to do one again, I'd still pick the root canal 😬.

Need to do a remote control power wheel instead that overrides the toddler'a inputs. That way I can steer it away from a big steep hill in my yard when my aons get too wild and make the park it correctly when they are done.

I had a vasectomy myself and it honestly wasn't that bad. Of course it hurt when they cauterized the strings. But after that It didn't hurt too much. Which was surprising.
They gave you Valium? not just Ibuprofen? (got a high dose of Ibuprofen) Bravo on the stroller, makes me think maybe I should do that with the electric ride on cars for my kids...(already boosted power with Dewalt batteries following your vids, and added headlights.)

My husband had a vasectomy due to me being high risk for complications and he didn't want to risk my health. He was sore for about two days then he was up and moving.

I drove myself to and from the vasectomy appointment. No big deal. Sore the day of and the day after, milled some wood and made a swing set the day after that.
I do miss knowing I can have more kids, but we’d probably have another 3 or 4 kids on top of the 5 we already have if I didn’t get snipped…

They didn't give me any meds ahead of time either. I was really really impressed. 🤬 Plus I had to get tested twice afterwards since i failed the first test. Had me feeling really good.
