I don’t think farmhouse is “over”. Of course I call it country, just a relaxed style. Sometimes country goes very primitive, sometimes more modern, sometime romantic, sometimes cottage, sometimes lodge, or a conglomeration of all of them! For a long time we’ve seen a lot of white, what happens when we see too much of one color? We get tired of it! I think what’s going to happen is country is going to take on a little color maybe some of the blues and greens they say are so popular right now. But country will never go out of style. More and more people are recycling more and more old stuff and that’s what country folks have always done. “If we can’t use it this way how can we make it work another way?” That’s a countryfolk motto!
I agree. I'm seeing more light green items which is a nice accent with the white.
The egg shaped wood piece is missing the handle. I have my great aunts and she called it a sock darner, slipped in socks to mend holes in the toes or heels. The red rolling pin and base is temptations,I believe the pattern is called old world
I did end up finding the handle in the bag. Glad to know what it is..
Those Clocks will be so adorable in white though for Spring!!! Great finds for today!
Teachers use the frog as an attention getter in their classroom. Used it a lot in my preschool room

Ooooh, I haven't even finished the video yet and I have to tell you that I think the wooden slab would make a beautiful turn table. Anxious to see what you do with it! Hmmm, cutting board. Nice, and I like the idea of a leather tie through that hole. I love the birds.....I NEVER find ANY birds of any kind in my area and its really frustrating. I also love the way the mail box turned out with that scrumptious-looking font! Great job on everything, Miz Gingerchick!

That mailbox, Yvonne, an idea would be to put garden tools in it and maybe put a cute stencil saying “ Garden” and then maybe put some little garden shovels etc ...gardening is so popular and I’ve seen this set up in a garden which is a handy place to hold your tools in while out in the garden 🌾🍃🦋🌺📭

Country is relaxed and what you like. Always has been and always will be. It is using what you have and up grading it and changing it. It never goes out of style, and it can be change up easily. Paint, strip and fabric changes go well with it. It is warm and inviting. Its comfort while living in your home. The white and black is cute but never was for me. I tried it and did not keep it long. I am country all the way. Peace!

The mail box would make a great garden box, a place to store your hand tools and gloves in the garden.

I love all of the pieces. So sad about the Little fat Hen oh, she would have been so cute with that blue wax on her. Those prints really did look better with the black frames. You sure "chicked up" this bunch nicely!!!

I live at the ocean small country community Farmhouse is still big around here also. Even the nautical is distressed...lol...you find some good items when you thrift shop. Everything turned out beautiful the birds were gorgeous. Need that wax love the look

That egg...if it had a handle sticking out of the hole on top, I would say is a darning egg. For sticking in stockings, etc. and darning holes. Yeah, people used to DO that

Wow, cool finds- you have some nice thrift stores nearby. You generate more videos than some full time CZcamsrs- - do you ever sleep?? I often can’t sleep so I’m up doing something crafty for my decor that I planned for some other day🙂. Love all the flips. What a wonderful haul! And you did a great job on your makeovers! I don’t know how you can shop thrift shops, makeover most pieces, film and edit so you have a new video almost everyday! I am inspired by the coasters. As expensive as wood has become I cringe to throw any little scrap out, but only have so much storage room before I am tripping over them. There will be cute little stenciled coasters in Christmas baskets this year. Thank you!

Wow what am amazing hail and most of it you don’t need to do anything, they’re all your style 👌🏼 Yes the whiskey rocks you put in the freezer like ice blocks and the don’t water your drink down by melting like ice does.

I have been collecting vintage & some new, if they’re beautiful - wooden spoons & kitchen utensils for about 15 years or so - I love them - some are very old & very well loved - I use them as well as display them - I use big decorative flower pots to store them - I probably have about 100 - 2 matching pots I have on one long stretch of countertop and the ones I use the most are next to my stove - I also have a small collection of wooden honey dippers - most of them are not vintage, but I have about a dozen of them and no 2 are identical ! Enjoying your channel !
