The son of an actor, gospel singer Oden Fong had spent his childhood amist the flamboyance of the Hollywood glitterati, and it was in this environment that the seeds of his faith were sewn. He first rose to prominence as lead vocalist and songwriter with the highly-regarded Christian rock group, Mustard Seed Faith. A definite streak of evangelism has been sustained through his work as a member of the group and in his solo pursuits ever since. For his debut solo effort, Come For The Children, Fong employed a number of musical styles on songs which emphasized this didactic, almost hectoring quality.
I've never heard this song before but it hits home. Thank you for such an uplifting song. Our Nation needs the White Eagle to come. Thank you again.
This is one of my favorite songs. Love Song, Maranatha Current, Second Chapter of Acts. It takes me back to the 70's Christian fellowship at Hand in Hand concerts.
I remember purchasing this album back when it came out. I was floored! This was one of my favorite escapism albums

Discovering Oden Fong for the first time. I really wish this style of music would come back or that there were radio stations with retro-christian music playing. I enjoyed hearing this song.
First heard this tune off the Maranatha! Current sampler. Gotta love those early CCM samplers!
This might have been the first christian song I've ever heard,at least one of the first.Loved it ever since!
found this album at used record store, I wore out the cassette tape when I was young and it was ready to break , I bought two copies of the album on record form. I had many of these albums in the 70s and 80s but they were not in good condition. I was lucky to find most of them at used record stores and repurchased them.

Love this song! I first heard it in college. Turned the lyrics into a 10 min radio show for class and then a 1/2 hour film. Good times! My first production company was also called White Eagle Ministries!
