Too many in both sides. Moema, Pinheiros, Perdizes, Alto de Pinheiros, Jardim Paulista, Itaim Bibi, Vila Mariana, Consolação, Saúde, Lapa, Bela Vista, Morumbi, Tatuapé, Panamby, Campo Belo, Alto da Boa Vista, Butantã, Santana, Campo Grande, Vila Nova Conceição, etc, etc, etc, are some of developed neighbourhoods in Sao Paulo among others. As for the slums: Heliópolis (the Sao Paulo's largest favela), Paraisópolis, Recanto do Paraíso, Esmeralda, Nova Jaguaré, Divinéia, Alba, Babilônia, Beira Rio, Souza Dantas, Iporanga, etc, etc, etc. There are too many to name all of them here. As you can see, there's a high social distance between both sides although some of them are just neighbours, like Paraisópolis that shares the same region with both riches and poor.
Just to clarify: in my CZcams channel I try to bring the viewers the best of our city as the TV only bring us the worst side of it (as well as many CZcams channels - the 'worst' part always get more attention than the 'best' part of it). I'm aware you commented it to criticise the city, but I understand your viewpoint as well., truly. We are far from being a so called (or labelled) "First World" and think we will never reach this status. However, as I mentioned earlier, I believe it's nice to show everyone that despite all economic and social issues we have, we may look at the city and see that there is 'the other side", a good one, where we can look at and keep dreaming of better days.
