As a Canadian it warms my heart to see you loving Vancouver!!! It really is an amazing part of Canada. Granville Island is amazing to visit đ If you ever get the chance, you should travel to Banff/Jasper as it is even more breathtaking than Vancouver. I can't wait to hear more of your adventures of the Alaskan cruise!
Stanley Park is my favorite hangout. The air smells clean because of the trees and the ocean.
Iâve so been looking forward to this series! We did the Wonder Alaska cruise in 2015 and loved Vancouver, especially Granville Island.
Was thrilled to see you in Vancouver (my hometown). You picked a good time to come visit. The big wooden installations you pass by at the airport are part of the Musqueam Welcome Area. The airport is on land that is Musqueam traditional territory! That viewpoint is a favourite spot for pictures and proposals lol Also, the bridge is called Lions Gate Bridge! It connects Vancouver to North Vancouver/West Vancouver (one of the bridges at least. There's another bridge from Vancouver to North Vancouver called the Iron Workers Memorial Bridge). the tree is the Hollow Tree, it was damaged in the big windstorm, and they just decided to preserve it instead of removing it. There were a couple of suspicious fires there a few years back, hence it looks burnt.
Thank you so much for all the cool info!
Florida man discovers the north! Those trees are impressive, and I agree that the air just feels fresher the further north you go. Can't wait for the rest of the series!
The family photo with those dogs was probably the best family photo Iâve ever seen!
I grew up in Vancouver and just moved away a few years ago to the U.S. I love seeing peopleâs reactions to the city. To me it was just home, but itâs so nice to appreciate it through other peoples eyes. I also have to say you are SO right about the clean air. I always say how dirty everywhere else is (in the U.S at least). Well, when Vancouver is what youâre comparing it to, yes đ€·đ»ââïžđ Iâm spoiled having grown up in such a beautiful city. I miss it dearly. Glad you got to see a little part of what makes it great đšđŠ
My brother is currently working on the Wonder as a part of the Tech Crew, so its likely if you saw a show or watched the sail away - He was running part of it! (Bit of a proud flex)
The Bridge name is âLion Gate Bridgeâ for your info.
YAYYYYY I've been waiting for this series!!!!

I'm from Toronto and happy to see so much love for another Canadian city. We've been looking into Alaska cruise and can't wait to see this series.
This video was awesome! Thank you!
Hope youâre enjoying a fabulous cruise, Adrian and family! Your grandma is delightful đ
I took an Alaska cruise out of Vancouver and fell in love with the city. Such a beautiful combination of cultures and natural beauty. đ€©
Also love any and all cultural aspects of travel. We have so much to learn from other peoples. Excellent beginning to what will be an awesome trip.
The Chevron station in the water is for the sea planes.
So exciting đ„ł
As someone from Seattle area (that moved away a few years ago), I love seeing how excited you are about things that feel so common to me. I'm cruising in two weeks and can't wait to see the rest of your adventures!
Vancouver rocks!
Love your videos, Adrian! Vancouver/Disney Cruise is definitely on our travel bucket list, I am keen to see the rest of these vlogs!
P.S In The Heightssssss - such a great film. Hope you enjoyed it
Great video. On our Alaska cruise we had excursions just about every day. The absolute best was the Sea Plane. Well worth the cost. Have a wonderful trip!!!
Glad the bag made it, lost luggage is a pain. Vancouver looks amazing đ can't wait for the Alaskan cruise embarkation adventure đ€
Vancouver is my favorite ity. It feels safe, clean, and friendly. Lots of cool nature to experience and amazing city life all togther. I haven't been in years... Feels like I need to plan a trip!
I am from Vancouver and loved how much you loved it!
Welcome to Canada!!! Your love of Canada makes me so happy. I hope you stay longer and explore more next time!
I live in Alberta! Banff and Jasper are a must!
It's great to see our lovely city through someone else eyes. We easily forget we live in one of the worlds most amazing locations/cities. Really expensive to live here but its so beautiful. I look forward to more of your Alaska cruise.. it helps pump me up for when we go in Sept. I will say 1 day is not enough to tour Vancouver... if people can afford it.. they should try 2 or even 3 days here at the minimal. Well until your next Disney Alaskian vlog.. ty.
Just found your vlog. So exciting, we are also flying from Orlando, Florida to Newark and then United to Vancouver. And then on Aug. 8th, sailing the Wonder. Dreading that long flight and time change. Canât wait for next series.
A dream is a wish your heart makes, always love hearing that tune at the beginning of your videos! I donât often comment but I love your videos, youâre so down-to-earth, genuine and quite honestly, super relatable!! Canât wait to see all the fun adventures you and your loved ones are up to on this trip đ
Weâre happy to hear youâre loving the videos and we appreciate you watching even tho you donât comment! đ„°
Granville marketplace reminds me of Faneuil Hall in Boston, itâs so cool.

We flew Delta and only had to wear a mask exiting the plane. I thought I saw you in Cabanas. You went on the June 20th cruise, right? You are great, I love your videos!
