In Aaryns defense, sometimes growing up in a community of people that say derogatory and racially insensitive things egregiously, it becomes a part of their every day socializing. Once Aaryn had the mirror shown back on her, shes been nothing but remorseful and apologetic, and actually rose out of her old ways. I had a couple friends in high school that would say some racist shit early on, but one of my best buddies was a black dude on the fball team, and i didn't like how they'd always pick on him as he was one of 3 black ppl in the entire school at the time. I brought light to it, and my friends never said racist things again. One of those friends actually told me his parents make fun of all kind of ethnicities every day. (he was filipino, not white btw).
