This is a deep teaching but if you are like me, and feel terrified thinking that what IF God didn't choose me and I end up in hell..then take time and pray with the Word of God and the Holy Spirit will open your understanding to understand what this predestination means. Yes, we are chosen to become like Jesus. We can't say...oh well, i will live in sin and still go to heaven because I am predestined. But predestination helps us to feel secure that those chosen by God will end up like Jesus because God will see to it that they do. God desire that ALL be saved. He doesn't delight in the death of the sinner. There are many verses that show that God desires all to be saved but why only a few are saved is also the other side of the coin. That's why brother Zac said some things we won't fully understand here on Earth..why some reject God's grace and why some are chased by God until they accept? Be encouraged that the CROSS speaks God's desire and love for us..His desire to save us from our own sins.
Yes, God is all Sovereign... No surprises with God.. He carries out all His will.. Yet each one of us is individually accountable to Him for our actions..
