- This great passenger video was shot by Lesley and Chris for Doris Visits. They are regular #Marella #cruiseship guests and enjoy cruising. It gives a great feel to the ship which looks wonderful.
A Vision class ship, she holds about 2000 guests. Built in 1995 she was one of Royal Caribbean's most popular ships. Sold to Thompson in June 2016, with almost a year or re-styling and refitting she was launched in May 2017 in Malaga. She was renamed a year later when the brand and fleet became Marella and she became the Marella Discovery 2.

Went on Marella discovery2 for the first cruise absolutely fabulous loved it stayed in an inside cabin very spacious plenty of room to put everything our housekeeping man was mark who was excellent at his job an really looked after us for the 2 weeks and also in the live loung on a night may was excellent at making sure your glass was never empty these 2 members of staff really stood out for us but I must say that all the staff were very good at there jobs and were reall very hard working the shows every night were amazing will be definitely going back sooner rather than later

This is the 2nd time Ive watched this video,1st time because I was sailing on her sister ship Discovery a couple of months after this vid was put out. And I will say my Discovery cruise was fantastic around the Greek Islands, so now I have watched this again, as I am cruising on this ship the Discovery 2 in Sept.2023,and am so looking forward to another great cruise with Marella.

What makes Marella Cruises great most of all are the fabulous friendly staff on board. :) We use Marella time and time again.

Love this ship ,can't wait to take my daughter on it...... hope covid-19 pass very soon and everything goes back to normal.
Booked for August 2020 can’t wait. It will be our 6th cruise with tui, but our first on the Discovery.
Hopefully the pandemic is long gone by then.
