I am suffering after buying the diesel automatic. I bought Signature O variant 1.5dsl. Today I completed the first service cut-off range i:e 1500 kms. It's almost a month now and I have filled 4 full tanks, I usually fill to the brink i:e about 58-59 liters each time. 58×4= 232 liters used to drive exactly 1500 kms. 1500/232= 6.46km/l Pathetic mileage, also let me mention 90% of the drive was in the city, the guys at the company claimed atleast 12kml and worst case scenario 9kml that too when I drive full throttle, I have been driving automatic cars for a long time so definitely not my first automatic, Today the guys at the dealership are telling no automatic vehicle can give a mileage above 8kml. I avoided buying the Petrol thinking of the rising price and also thought i would get good mileage, now I feel I should have gone for the Petrol because as it is there is no mileage atleast i would have had better power which also is a concern in the diesel automatic. PS: I had an Innova Crysta 2.8z automatic before this, that being a bigger vehicle and 177 ps power returned 8.5kml.
@@khannagaurav29 I just completed a year and did 20k kms on the odo..got the service done, the dealers are blaming my upsized tyres, I have upped it to 245/45/19, well my argument is I drive mostly alone and moderate speeding type of driving, considering this to be a 1.5 bs6 engine even if the mileage drops by 4 kml I should atleast get 14 or 15 kml and I am getting max 12 that too when I am driving at very low rpms the moment I revv it returns to single digit that is 7 or 8 kml..I will be selling the car this December n have booked the hyryder full hybrid, that said the car is a good performer no 2 ways on that, once u have mastered the skill of using paddle shifts it is a fantastic ride..hope it helps.. take care.
I never felt car underpowered while in city or highway , though I did not excessively pushed the car but whenever power is required the car is their to deliver the same. We used cruise at 100 kmph and car was doing the same at 2.2k rpms in 6th gear effortlessly.
@@fullthrottle1804 then why ppl demanding from Tata 170 ps it means Tata is fool i think Tata should also give less power full engine just like Hyundai Alcazar and give less space like Hyundai Alcazar because ppl love fancy features.not power full engine and space.
Your innova is new and more spacious car , though it is not feature loaded but offers more comfort than alcazar. If feature is of prime requirement than you can go for alcazar otherwise innova is more reliable offers space for both passenger and lugaage.

though I did not drive the petrol one but do not expect more than 9-10 kmpl in real world with petrol. The ARAI mileage of petrol manual is @14.5 so expect atleast 15-20% less with full load in real world scenario.

It was never on sports mode. He had selected Theme B for the instrument cluster. Sports mode or eco mode would have the info present on screen.
