Humans are weird creatures, if something is too ugly we won’t eat it and if something is too cute we also won’t eat it (mostly).

@@estellevu8076 Black marans come to mind, every part of them is black, from the feathers, skin, meat and even bones are black, there aren't many foods that are jet black that tend to be edible. Of our thousands of years of being on earth we only recently started eating tomatoes in the past 100 or so years because of their color, red things tend to be poisonous.
How about stop naming stuff after creepy animals, start calling them by what they taste like. I'd love some yum yum crab.

unfortunately it wouldn't work because once a shellfish dies they almost immediately become a disease ridden death trap because it has no natural defences to it and so once dead only have a shelf life span of a few minutes to an hour any longer and it's almost assured to cause food poisoning at best

I remember once when I was younger my family took me too a port and I remember we bought those crabs directly from fishermen. Even though I was a child I didn't find them scary. I thought they looked kind of cool. I just felt bad about boiling them alive.
So I can attest the the fact that they are fucking delicious! It's been like 15 years or something and my mouth is watering right now thinking about it. I haven't had the chance to eat them since but it has ruined crab fo4 me forever. Since that day all other crab tastes like underwhelming shit.

I've watched a lot of your older videos and as an american understood 99% of what you said, sometimes I'd have to back it up and listen to it a few times before it would click, but afterwards I'd catch it. I really enjoy listening to other peoples accents for some reason
I owned two goldfish and anytime I brought home seafood of any kind like shrimp or something, I would always cover the fish tank so they didn’t see me eat it. I always felt so bad like maybe they’d recognize who I brought home, so yeah the boys had to be covered with a towel so they couldn’t see that I was eating other fish. You’re not weird for that Karl! We used to catch and eat these all the time growing up off the coast of California. Our's are even creepier looking than that one though. They are ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. Their shells are CRAZY hard though and really hard to break. They actually are over-fished in my area though now.

I know something that may make a neat video idea... In Florida, there’s this city named Oviedo where’s there’s a Popeye’s chicken fast food restaurant. Some years back, whenever you go through the drive through, you’d ALWAYS see free-range chickens roosting. At one point, they put up a “Chicken Xing” (chicken crossing) sign to warn customers about them. Unfortunately, I heard that too many chickens were getting run over, sometimes snatched, and they had to finally chase them away. It was always a novel sight and joking with their employees about feeding the chickens fried chicken or joking that the chickens were there for emergency (like if they ran out of chicken, they’d lure one or two into the back and butcher it).
Only in Florida. But leave it to them to ruin a good thing.

I went to Legoland once where there was an aquarium with a Japanese spider crab and you could go under the tank they were in with a glass some you could stick you're head in and they would just be around you everywhere.

I learned the bottle trick from my dad when I was a teen. Once I tried to open a bottle with a sheet of paper. You just have to fold it repeatedly to create a thick strip, and then fold the strip together to form a sharp corner. It works every time, and is a great party trick.

There's an aquarium in Legoland, and they have Japanese spider crabs there. They're in this cool enclosure where you can like, go underneath and see it up close. When I went, my brother dared me to go underneath, which I did.
