Rohini don't bend your back so much. Sit down and lift the baby. Do everything sitting down. Your back will be strained after carrying the baby for so many months. All your body parts have gone through stress during pregnancy and delivery. So be careful...at least for 45 days. Let your body come back to its original state. Take care.

I know you will be mindful about Coco's wellbeing too but I would like to suggest you that you make sure you spend time just with Coco even its 5-10 mins a day. I had my cat and dog first and all my kids after that. The pets feel stress with sudden change in the house and might feel neglected which is not good for their health. Please let CoCo sniff your baby's blanket or clothes to get use to her. I let my pets sniff the baby itself the moment we entered the home after coming from hospital. But every pet reacts differently. I know Coco hiss sometimes, so do a slow introduction with smell baby's smell first. Make sure Coco's nails are trimmed and maintained. Do not fear about pet hair around the house. We have high shedding cat and dog in the house and in some way it has helped my kids to be immune as I was around the pets while I was pregnant. There are many articles regarding introducing your pets and babies or how to keep balance between your fur babies and human babies. When ever you get time please go through them. You are awesome mom!!! You guys are so lucky to have each other as a family and God bless this sister bond.
