Couldn't agree more! I've wathced many channels like this and they either aren't put together well, not mastered correctly so the audio from the videos are more aligned with the narrator's voice or how they narrate sounds like they're trying to sound like Zak Bagans.

Here's a tip, if you fake a scary/paranormal vid (and I'm talking to you Jacob) don't do the heavy breathing thing. People who are scared or trying to listen subconsciously hold their breath or breath lightly. They don't pant like a dog. I live alone and whenever I investigate a strange noise that has me concern I don't sound like Darth Vader. You're instinctly quiet so you can hear a pin drop and also not give your location away. Also, the last I thing I think of is to record on my phone. I'm in the moment and 100% focused on what could be a possible intruder. In these vids, first thing people do is start recording and talking to themselves, not a realistic thing to do if your investigate a noise, especially if your genuinely scared or worried. So if you stage a video, be mindful of that.
Plus for 7 month of renovation nothing happened.

You're wrong about the breathing though.
When fear strikes it can cramp up muscles. Some people stiffen up completely and cannot run/flee. And no not paralysis, then they would fall to the floor too.
Muscles are also used for breathing and air pipe. Those can also stiffen, hence the heavy breathing. Mostly people with a big posture have this problem.
I know this because one time we were just looking for trouble scaring people, we were young, and i wore a mask doing so. The one i scared was so afraid that she could barely breath. For the ones who think i was a bad person doing so: i got instant karma, since i got scared from the loud screaming myself and never did it again.
Point being: heavy breathing when scared is a common reaction of the body when the wrong muscles stiffen or cramp up.
P.s. the heart is a muscle too. People can literally scare to death

After they come to their senses, they breathe heavy to catch their breath or they're are experiencing a panic attack (which is what you friend was having). This dude in the video was panting steadily like a dog for several minutes (not a panic attack) giving away his bad acting.

People react differently to fear and danger, some run, some freeze and some punch and can even get aggressive. My mom was someone that would breathe heavily when she was afraid, and I myself tend to hold my breath😂
And then there's people like my dad, he starts cursing and yelling and hitting surfaces with a punch.

personally I'm sick of these, if I see children with exuberant fantasy here as a "scary footage" ever again - unsub, first thing kid's imagination isn't scary, second - I feel uncomfortable being forced to look at some babies for so long and had to skip almost 1/3 of the vid, the lvl of cringe was too high, and with the soundtrack and Nuke's comments it felt more like some Discovery ID pedo mockumentary or some s***

Years ago a local talk show host in Boston had a segment on hauntings / ghosts. It wasn't his normal radio content but there was a lot of calls. One of the callers had been a security guard who had been assigned to Danvers State hospital. He said not many of the guards lasted very long and the place was aggressively haunted. Before he quit he stated he got to the point where he wouldn't leave his car but even then he'd hear things coming from the hospital. Said the posting to the hospital was the worst he had ever had.

When my youngest was about 2 or 3 years old, there was a few months where he was frequently following something with his eyes and talking to someone who wasn’t there. When we asked who he was talking to he would say it’s a secret. So we blew it off. And then one day he yelled “you’re such a funny grandma”.
My wife’s mother had passed away the year before and she adored her grandson. I did not get along with her so maybe that’s why it was supposed to be a secret. Sends chills down my back to this day.

That's probably because Annabell is a Raggedy Ann doll so not exactly the same kind of workmanship. She's a homemade doll made of cloth after a character from a book. Whereas this thing's face and hands are made from porcelain and the body is better made too. It's a professionally made doll. It's supposed to look like a real harlequin. It's not even a pure doll though. It's either a marionette or a ventriloquist's dummy , that's why it's eyes can move and why it sits down so well.
All dolls are scary though because they were originally created to use in the earliest rituals to house the spirits of non human entities like the body that dude had in Avatar or I guess a mecha.
Dolls not used in rituals are like the bastard siblings of idols and poppets (also moppets, lol) used in pagan religions.
That's why no doll should have eyes...
Only fully synthetic dolls with painted or stitched on, unrealistic eyes are safe from having an entity use them as a body.

Edit: On another note, I don't like when parents don't believe their young toddlers, even getting irritated with them. Like, what possible reason could your toddler have to lie to you about something like that? Saying they're acting weird or imagining it or invalidating what they see just drives me nuts.

Children love to play imagination games and there's no harm in indulging their flights of fancy, even if it's something "scary". If they are imagining something scary, there might be a good reason for it and taking them to a place they feel safe is a good thing.

I agree with you on that one. Toddlers aren't exposed to those type of stuff and their imaginations aren't so broad at that age. If they say they're seeing something that you can't, means that they're seeing something. Can you imagine the confusion of that child? I think I've read something ór seen a movie where young toddlers like that, can see through the veil. At a certain age they loose that ability and they won't remember anything. I definitely feel that there's more to investigate on that subject.

#5 at 20:53 . Note that there is a time stamp at the bottom left of the film from the CCTV security footage. Note that the time never changes, it remains at 7:42:50 throughout. Therefore, the "fireball" doesn't happen on the CCTV footage. It's a reflection on the computer screen of something happening in the room where the footage is being filmed.

As someone who had been to Danver's mental hospital several times (and also almost arrested/ had guns pulled on me) it honestly might have been the best evidence of paranormal anywhere. Too bad cameras weren't as common at the time. Neary Taunton had a similar hospital with underground tunnels. It didn't even compare to how haunted Danver's felt. When they ripped that place down the rumors were crazy. Just talking to security guards was a trip.

The way she handled that before making a response video was bad, you could tell Levi was visibly not okay and just wanted to leave the room, but she didn't seem to want to listen to what he was feeling. Validate your kids feelings, don't just pass them off as nothing.

My niece used to point to random spots in the house and say “Pa Pa” all the time when she was a toddler. One time not long after my dad had passed away we went to the graveyard and she was probably about 2-3yrs old and had never been. The grave stone hadn’t yet been placed (still being made) so we knew where it was by a small tree and another name on a gravestone opposite. As we were parking and kind of lost and looking for the tree she pointed out the window all excited and shouted”Papa Papa Papa” she pointed to the exact spot of his grave. Pretty scary but at the same time, it was kinda cool she could still see him!

I absolutely LOVE these videos. Fake or real, they're always entertaining and creepy. Having said that, Jacob's grandmother's house looks like the Paper Street house in Fight Club. It's almost too spooky to be real. There are stains all over the walls and the paint of the doors and walls looks like it hasn't been updated in decades. Didn't Jacob say he spent 7 months renovating his new home? Not gonna fix those walls or that creepy picture hanging on the wall with too long of a string holding it up? I mean, the bedroom alone... why does his bed look like something out of a haunted house? Seriously! This house looks like it's been abandoned for decades and hasn't had someone living in it for at least 40 to 50 years. How long ago did his grandma die? As spooky as that video is, it seems a bit staged. That being said, I still loved this video and all the others on this latest upload. Great Job, Nuke!

Quality? Most videos he posts are from dedicated ghost hunting channels and those are clearly faked videos. Channel has been going down for a while. Not nukes fault if there is a low supply of decent videos but still not as good as the old ones.

the "paw paw" child clip was sad, because you could see how grief stricken his mom was when she was explaining her grandfather had passed just a year prior. She's still mourning his loss, and this probably brought up a lot of painful emotions in her. I hope she can find her peace

I’ve heard a story about a similar entity as the fireball one. Many years ago, one night my Nana (Grandma) got up to get some water sometime after midnight (I forget exactly when but it was late enough when everyone was already asleep). As she was passing through the hall with her little doggie the dog paused and looked forward toward the kitchen for a moment and started barking, immediately after she described seeing a bright red lightning bolt in the shape of a person flash before them and left as quick as it had appeared. I’ve never seen an apparition quite like what she described before today, and I consider myself an avid horror consumer especially for the paranormal! What a treat to see evidence similar to her experience after so long!

I used to explore the Danvers hospital often in the early 2000s. It was always an incredibly fascinating place to me. I have been meaning to take a closer look at all of the photos I took in there (there are many). I may also have some video.
From what I understand, the hospital closed due to overcrowding and its declining care for the patients. There are (or were) 2 or 3 secret gravesites on the property with nothing but numbers for each grave. A group of people were trying to put names to the numbers several years ago.
The building was incredible. Approaching it in the dark was truly an experience, walking through a huge field up towards the building with its gothic architecture silhouetted in the night sky. Hard to describe. Getting in was generally easy, with a door being wide open most of the time. It felt creepy in there, but we would go with around 5 people each time and would feel generally safe.
We didn't have any paranormal experiences. I was in the exact room in the footage in the video here, but don't recall seeing anything ghostly. Some friends of mine went one time without me and told me they were about to go in but heard someone screaming inside so they didn't go in. They just turned around and went home. Not sure what that was about!

There where also unexplained fires at the luxury apartments where Danvers State Hospital stood, a few years after they were built. As well I had a coworker that lived in one of them who had taken a video of his broom standing straight up an vibrating.
