Thanks man! Yeah me too i got the idea from one of my favourite CZcams guitarists “Robar”. In some of my older covers i used to get accused of faking etc cause sometimes my tones would blend in the mix too much. I like guitar covers where the song is still very audible yet the guitar being played still is stronger than any other in the mix. Doing this and the reduced volume will hopefully help me get less of these claims in the future and i find it helps people hear the difference between my tone and the songs tone when its turned back up.
