the sprint to fire benefit from zip is needed because the wsp has open bolt delay of around 50ms so you need to minimize the delay after (sprint to fire) as much as possible and the loss of damage range doesn’t really matter in my opinion because it’s only really viable in that 10m-hipfire range anyway
