Simple remedy is to sit infront of his photo and ask for forgiveness for everything u have done knowingly or unknowingly..also, this is pitra paksha month..check the thithi of his death and do puja..we have detailed puja vidhi on youtube..u can also check that video done by narsimha rao channel..not sure hw much that works but try..all ancestors are pleased when we ask for forgiveness and follow right path and keep up their teachings alive..
